The story is about a person from a non African race like this white man .
Its not about black people from other African nations speaking different african language s. Like yorubas speaking, twi or akans speaking swahili..
Those are still African languages.and you are still an
      Native African.
This man is european born in
Africa and speak an African .language. thats totaly different.

My story is almost similar. I am a Yoruba born in Kumasi, Ghana. I live all my youth life in Kumasi and command the language perfectly. I live now in one of the Scandinavian countries and works sometimes as an Ashanti language translator. Honestly, I feel good among Ghanaians than Nigerians.

Aldo Adabunu It is because it is unusual that Non Blacks speak the language of Black people. On the other hand, it is common that Black people speak the language of Non Blacks. Even African countries including Ghana have the language of Europeans as their official language. So, it is an appreciation for the few Non Blacks who had made an effort to speak our languages.

Change your mentality about which language is the best and which is not and see if you feel the same. Which obroni appreciates you for speaking English? Because they think their language is superior and so they are rather doing you a favor. See your language as superior as they see theirs and check if you need to appreciate them for speaking? Anka )betena ghana no, what language do we expect him to speak?
