It's been great to watch rocket really start coming into his own as part of the group, I've been a follower and mag buyer for a few years now and it's great to see him develop himself as a character on the show, was a standout in this episode and felt like giving him some recognition for it, seems like it can be hard to stand out amongst you blokes are you are both charasmatic and confident on camera. Keep it up and keen to see rocket in some more DVDs
You guys have been pumping out the full length adventure video's and I'm so greatful because I can't get enough. I even bought a multi region dvd player to buy and watch the video's here in the states. Great work guys and thanks!
One of the best I have seen. They broke the mould with this one. The quality of the equipment is testament to the team and its providers. The gas didn't freeze on the camper. the fridges didn't over cool and freeze the chicken. The winches didn't burn out. Playing in that extreme weather is lethal if your not prepared. I have completed arctic warfare training and these guys did well. I have not seen any other off road team do this yet,,,, you have thrown down the gauntlet gents,,,, well done.
Man - you guys have the format DOWN to a science. LOVE the videos - REALLY makes me want to wheel. I'd love to get my early Bronco over there to play with you guys.
Shawno !! DIRTY 30!!! Priceless!! Love You Guys!! Much Love !! From Northern California. USA!! Home Of Big Mountains And Jeep Trails. Thanks Guys For Bringing Beautiful Australia " To Life for Us American Mountain boys!.... . TONY WOOD -MT.Shasta California.!!
Thank you so much for these videos over the past couple of weeks! Theres nothing better like coming home from work and watch these guys having a blast on these awesome tracks! We have a couple of unimogs and 4x4s ourselves, so this type of content is just great! Thank you very much!
As a Canadian watching you fellas fight the cold was really amusing. You guys make some of the highest quality 4wd films keep them up. I would have loved to see the 1000 bucks lux on this trail. Twin transfer cases are popular here and the USA wonder if more gearing would help some of you fellas out? Probably not popular given how much sand you guys typically tackle.
I'd imagine twin transfer case's are a necessity on a lot of those giant F series trucks and the real long wheel base American trucks with about 12" lift and 40"s?
They have doubler cases and specialized cases in the large 1/2-3/4 ton trucks but the toyota fellas just have geared up a way in which to put two gear driven cases inline with each other so you can get double low range, first done by marlin crawler makes it super controllable on hills and great for eliminating wheel spin and allows the low HP 4cyls to really excel on the trail.
I seen your name & the 4-A profile picture... ive got 3 corollas myself, 4-AFE 94 corolla (rally car) 4-AGE 83 KE70 (drifter and with a coilover adjustment & wheel change it rallies too) 4-AGE 84 AE71 (its just sat it the yard at the moment... warped the head, doesnt like not having a limiter) Also... double lo range sounds good. Then again my brumby & sportswagon dont even have lockers.. (doesnt help that LSDs are 1500+ for them....)
Man...you guys CANNOT be called out for taking it too easy xD That is some seriously hard core trails you tackle. You all run a great show :D We need more of it!
i found with hills as slippery as this stuff, keep it in low 4, 1st gear and idle down. keep the wheels rotating and you will be able to keep alot of your steering control. you lock it up and your going where ever the rocks or washouts take you. being in Tasmania, hill climbs are easy to come across and this can be the difference between rolling and having fun. great vid guys, love your stuff and Merry X-Mas to all everyone on the 4WD Action crew.
What a way to start a morning. I had to just go sit in my truck after this and appreciate how appreciative I am of these vehicles that can take us anywhere in the world. Top video guys. Merry Christmas and bring on 2018 with more epic adventures!
This is one of the best Xmas presents, thanks guys. Getting plenty of snow in the states... lucky bloke you are down there fishing and wheeling in the sun. Merry Xmas mates
Those hills were terrifying!! the descent with all wheels locked up, Terror! 31:13 I bet he was crapping his pants, you can see from the in-car how steep those hills are, CRAZY!
I love this channel!!! As well I love the cooking with Shauno snippets! Without a trail kitchen food gets a bit dodgy so I usually just bring MRE's, however a Waeco is on the wishlist!! Don't ever stop these adventures gents!!!!!
Best joke I've heard shaun. (Sorry if I spelled it wrong lol) I absolutely love watching these. I'm from the U.S. and off roading is more of smaller faster vehicles. But 4x4 trucks and suvs aren't used for this here where I am. I absolutely love this and want to get my own, and explore. Even tho ive camped many places and for a long time all it seems I did was camp. Going on a track somewhere is something totally different.
These videos are great. Keep them coming! Washington State in the USA has all of the conditions you mentioned for 4Xing. If you ever make the trip to the US, come through here. We are on the Pacific Ocean, we have tall mountains, (Mt. Rainier is almost 15k feet tall) lots of forests, and a desert. :) Cheers.
Cesar Moreno where they’re in Australia mate which is right down south is probably under 16 degrees Celsius most of the year. Opposite to you guys in the US. Australia is North=hot.. South= cold most or the year anyway... but yes Australian cold compared to North America cold not really on the same level!
Holy crap, that moment starting at 9:05 when Shaun starts sliding down that hill with the trailer! It had me puckering up from the other side of the world. Don't know how you did that and came out with clean shorts.
I'm just some broke kid with a little Jeep TJ here in the States, this video makes me want to go out for a huge adventure. You guys are living the dream
Im just a poor dude here in Oz, i have a 600 dollar subaru brumby (brat) with a 4 inch lift and 29s Nothings stopping you but yourself mate, get out there nd give it a go. 👍
Another great video out of Australia... some of the stuff in the states is all about fancy rigs and no wheeling (cough... X Overland... cough). You guys and Ronny do it right. Wheeling and food prep!
truffleshuffle02 look up a bloke called Roothy on here. He does his 4x4ing in a old 4wd that has no heating or air conditioning. It's not fancy looking and should be in a nursing home for cars
OMG that dinner time meal prep had me in tears, Wearing a parka at -5c. Come to Canada -5 is t-shirt an shorts weather. I have no joke shovelled my drive (of snow) wearing shorts. We don't pull out the parkas till at least -25c.
Yeah, and I've seen you Canadians come to Las Vegas when the temps were in the 80's and thought you were dying....Most people are not acclimated to all extremes.
Proud owner of a hj60 here boys shes only a 2h but I've put up to 700000kms on her at this point bulletproof engine made by hino heard they will do a million kms
You guys are awesome 👍 i watched and liked every episode you got available on UA-cam and i am going to order the 100 or so dvds you got because i cant get enough i dont even 4x4 just love your vibe good team and fun to watch im considering selling my car and buying a off road 😊 keep up the great work so fun
Another great video. Snow is maybe more of my skillset (I'm in the UK), but I'm massively jealous of the variety and sheer scale of the trips that you guys have access to.
Comes with the territory.. Have your seen the map of Australia superimposed on the map of Europe? Perth (Western Australia) is where Portugal is and Cairns corresponds roughly to Moscow..
Great video guys. I have one tip for you when you're driving down steep hills. Keep the car in 1st or 2nd gear, depending on how slow you need to go, and don't clutch unless you need to stop the car. Let the engine do most of the braking. If you keep it in gear and apply the brakes gently you'll have no lock ups on the wheels which gives you better control and smoother ride. Best regards from Iceland, up north on the other side :)
That was a mars trailer. Its a bit lower to the ground than most other off road campers. The mars trailers are ok for the price. But there is alot better trailers out there and the x1 that u were talking abot is a fantastic trailer but $60k for a soft floor is a bit steep.
Great video guys. I always enjoy watching your stuff. I wish you could come winter off roading here in Michigan, US with us. You would have more snow than you could possibly want.
I love how they show the camera 4x4 taking part as well.... those guys never get the credit they deserve
Yes! Love Rocket Rob ☺

Can’t get enough of these fellas. Setting a good example in how to have a sick time safely
This is by far your best episode yet. Lots of tense moments. I'll keep watching, great work mates!

Awesome video guys!!!
Thats the best track wrecking effort yet..
Man - you guys have the format DOWN to a science. LOVE the videos - REALLY makes me want to wheel. I'd love to get my early Bronco over there to play with you guys.

we just change the diff ratio and add power to the tires for big feet
I seen your name & the 4-A profile picture... ive got 3 corollas myself, 4-AFE 94 corolla (rally car)

This is awesome. I don't know why but Shauno and Graham make me so happy
Man...you guys CANNOT be called out for taking it too easy xD That is some seriously hard core trails you tackle.
You all run a great show :D We need more of it!
High Country is definitely on my bucket list.
You guys are Awesome and do some amazing trails i live in WA and you remind me how proud i should be to be an Aussie...
I can see how much hard work that you guys put in to shoot this programme and it’s all paid off. I looove your TV show and keep up with the good work.
i found with hills as slippery as this stuff, keep it in low 4, 1st gear and idle down. keep the wheels rotating and you will be able to keep alot of your steering control. you lock it up and your going where ever the rocks or washouts take you. being in Tasmania, hill climbs are easy to come across and this can be the difference between rolling and having fun. great vid guys, love your stuff and Merry X-Mas to all everyone on the 4WD Action crew.
Youguys give me hope for my 4x4 4 ton van. I swear your rigs are more top heavy than me.
Amazed you guts drove those rock downhill sections like that!
Hay! Love your videos I'm from madison wi! The snow is always a fight! Keep up the good work boys!
What a way to start a morning. I had to just go sit in my truck after this and appreciate how appreciative I am of these vehicles that can take us anywhere in the world. Top video guys. Merry Christmas and bring on 2018 with more epic adventures!

Yay!
May Santa bring you all a rear winch!
Those hills were terrifying!! the descent with all wheels locked up, Terror! 31:13 I bet he was crapping his pants, you can see from the in-car how steep those hills are, CRAZY!
Hahaha how crazy is it, Graham with sleeves
I love this channel!!! As well I love the cooking with Shauno snippets! Without a trail kitchen food gets a bit dodgy so I usually just bring MRE's, however a Waeco is on the wishlist!! Don't ever stop these adventures gents!!!!!

yewwwwww best show in the world right here
Thanks heaps for putting this vid up. I missed it coming out & haven’t been able to see it until now. Awesome video guys
"It's about 0 degrees. This is cold! Blistering cold."
Canadians: hmm......
Well considering Australia is like 32 degrees or something
I guess its cold.
IDK tho, I'm from the US
Cesar Moreno 32 dergrees in Australia is us 90 degrees
@@byronfoord501 Yes. What I really mean, since it's always hot in Australia, 0 degrees, seems extremely cold.
Anyone from the Midwest when it’s 60 degrees on day and 0 degrees the next.(Fahrenheit)
Cesar Moreno where they’re in Australia mate which is right down south is probably under 16 degrees Celsius most of the year. Opposite to you guys in the US. Australia is North=hot.. Another full episode. Keep them coming guys
That was entertaining, your shows seems more real and not scripted like All 4 Adventure.
I miss those tracks so much! Keep doing this guys 😃
I'm just some broke kid with a little Jeep TJ here in the States, this video makes me want to go out for a huge adventure. You guys are living the dream

60 series landcruiser diesel is my dream 4x4!

I'm not alone....
Davo george no your not alone. We are everywhere. You just have to find us.
Proud owner of a hj60 here boys shes only a 2h but I've put up to 700000kms on her at this point bulletproof engine made by hino heard they will do a million kms

Amazing Australia, great video guys.

That wheel side landcruier is BadAss!
Drives me nuts with you bringing that damn trailer. PITA
I wish I could go on a trip with them aye it would be sick.
Another great video. Snow is maybe more of my skillset (I'm in the UK), but I'm massively jealous of the variety and sheer scale of the trips that you guys have access to.
Comes with the territory.. Have your seen the map of Australia superimposed on the map of Europe? Perth (Western Australia) is where Portugal is and Cairns corresponds roughly to Moscow..
great show guys. best 4WD show going
Wow! fantastic videos! I certainly am enjoying them...you should sell seats and do ride-alongs...please keep the videos coming...
Once again a highly entertaining video..too good,,
That drive by barney right at the end was his best drive yet (on any of the video's)
I wonder how much fun you and the team would have running cross the USA back and forth from coast to coast. Great videos, you have a new subscriber!
These videos are great! So much fun to watch.
Great episode, I’ve done trails near here in summer in my 79, you guys are mental I’ve learnt heaps keep it up 👍 it also snowed in November
2:15 in and the trailer got stuck, solid r&d :D
Great video guys. I have one tip for you when you're driving down steep hills. Keep the car in 1st or 2nd gear, depending on how slow you need to go, and don't clutch unless you need to stop the car. You guys should really come to iceland, amacing roads, and in the winter it is full of snow
Which streched limo company designed that so called offroad camper trailer?
Ian White seriously it's so badly designed.
Ian White the Patriot X1 or whatever is way better
That was a mars trailer. Its a bit lower to the ground than most other off road campers. The mars trailers are ok for the price. But there is alot better trailers out there and the x1 that u were talking abot is a fantastic trailer but $60k for a soft floor is a bit steep.
Way too long lmao
Love these vids
This is eeeepppiiccc I can’t wait for the next episode
Awesome bunch of dudes. Love these vids, keep it up guys.
Good to see you pissed the rear locker off! You're learning young fella.
Awesome! Man I'd love to ship my truck over there and go on one of these adventures!
You boys are great!! Keep up the great work!!
Graham "off camber" Cahill haha
Tough country fellas good stuff
I just love the ⛄️ Snow
wow, that was epic winching guys!!! Cheers
Allan’s 79 is a 1HD-FTE 6 cylinder just FYI
Joe VD yeah was thinking they should know that haha
let me guess, the V8 needed work and it was cheaper just put an old 1HD-FTE 6 in there?
That year cruiser didn't have the v8 than but they came out with both the 1HZ and 1HD motors
FTE is better than the v8 anyway. But yeah you’d think graeme would know whats in a hdj79..
@Murgs Mate I would have an FTE over a v8 anyday both great engines but FTE
Great video guys. I always enjoy watching your stuff. I wish you could come winter off roading here in Michigan, US with us. You would have more snow than you could possibly want.
And the worst roads in the nation....I feel for you guys....You deserve better than what you've been getting....Keep on 4wd though.
That 4.2 cruiser is a dream boat
Love seeing that 12HT in action!
hahahahah the d max was just going for it up that steep cliff. so good
amazing video, makes me want to take the FJ cruiser out right now!
Thanks for the vids fellas !!
