Summary of all 3 points
1) Breath should be between the pit of the throat and navel (chest diaphragm breathing as opposed to stomach breathing)
2) Tuberous foods reduce your body's dynamism (avoid potato chips and highly processed derivatives :)
3) Consume food within 1.5 hours of cooking it (eat fresh foods :)

I am an Ayurvedic student....and whatever he is saying is completely true... We have studied how this vayu works.... The 5 types of Vayu (Air) in the body are Prana, Udana, Vyana, Samana, Apana... It gets more and more interesting, when you study it.

4:30 Many of us in the West have been taught to breathe deeply into the belly as a form of relaxation, thus we naturally assume that it's the way to breathe correctly for maximum well-being. It was very enlightening to learn otherwise! I practiced the correct pit-of-throat to navel breathing for awhile after watching this video, and had an immediate burst of energy. Unfortunately it was right before bed lol. I'll continue practicing it over time, in hopes that it can help with my chronic fatigue. Thank you Sadhguru, for all you do!

My CF is a result of having had multiple pulmonary emboli (blood clots in the lungs), which were a result of injury, so it's not systemic in that sense, but rather physical. Will your recommendations still work? Seems worth a shot, at least. I'm a night person, so I could certainly use the extra sunlight. ;)
But what is the exact technique of breathing through pit to navel...how to make sure whether the process of breathing through pit to navel we r doing is correct or not...
That part is called chong mai. You can test if is it block. You put your hands up to the sky and start inhale and exhale. If you feel like something is stuck beetween your lower chest and stomach that mean you cannot take a deep breath.

I stopped eating roots and allium for Jainism. It had great digestive results. Glad to hear Sadhguru mention it. Vegetarians eat way too much of it
Sadhguru did not mention roots! Tuberous is different from roots. Carrots, onions, ginger, horseradish, beets, sweet potato etc... Very nutritious foods and good for digestion like ginger, fennel

Only onion and garlic ( also potato to some extent) are the things to omit, rest most roots that are generally eaten are good - carrot, ginger, sweet potato, beet etc
@@chitralarora2012 what sadhguru mentions is tuberous foods with lots of starch and calories like potato that will make one lethargic. I'm not an expert on foods
