Mystique is portrayed by former-model-now-actress Rebecca Romijn, most recently known for portraying Captain Pike's "Number One," his second-in-command Uma Chin-Riley, in two Star Trek series. She was married to actor John Stamos during the X-Men films so is billed here as Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, but they divorced after 6 or 7 years of marriage after which she resumed using her maiden name professionally. (She has since married actor Jerry O'Connell, but this time kept her professional name unchanged.)
The animal "Wolverine" is a muscular carnivore and a solitary animal. The wolverine has a reputation for ferocity and strength out of proportion to its size, with the documented ability to kill prey many times larger than itself. The wolverine is found primarily in remote reaches of the Northern boreal forests and subarctic and alpine tundra of the Northern Hemisphere (that includes Norway and some northern parts of Sweden)

I'm so glad you are back and reacting to movies! Keep going with X-Men series (X-Men 2 is one of my favorite). Glad that you are feeling better and take good care of yourself. best wishes always
33:01 This is actually a joke referencing their uniforms in the X-Men comic books. They gave the characters black leather costumes for the movie because they were concerned that the actors would look silly in the blue and yellow spandex suits that they wear in the comics.
Hi. Excellent reaction. Watch in release order. And ignore any suggestions that tell you to skip any of them. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of the theatrical movies. Deadpool can be considered part of the Xmen movies, but watch it after DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.
Sir Ian McKellen as Magneto is perfection. This movie came out a year and a half BEFORE Lord of the Rings:The Fellowship of the Ring. Ian McKellen finished filming this movie and headed straight to New Zealand to start filming the LOTR movies. He will always be Magneto to me!!! I love it when people are impressed with how well he can portray both “good” & “bad” so well and be just as captivating in either role. He is also incredibly funny, and quick witted. I really enjoy watching interviews with him.
Definitely watch the whole series: X2 (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006), X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) [this is the worst film of the series but there is a good reason to watch it], X-Men First Class (2011), X-Men Days Of Future Past (2014), X-Men Apocalypse (2016) then watch Deadpool (2016), Logan (2017), and Deadpool 2 (2018). By the time you have watched all of these, Deadpool 3 (July 2024) could be streaming so you can watch that as well!!!!
Sorry to hear about your depression. I have sufffered with bouts of it all my life. In the last 18 months my depression has been so bad that I couldn't get out of bed. My struggle caused me to use up all my vacation time and sick time I had saved over the last 10 years. In the last 5 months I lost my apartment (evicted), lost my job, and became truly homeless. I was on the verge of ending it but I went to a Hospital Psychiatric Ward and signed myself in. Things have only got better since then. I am on new medication, I am currently in a homeless shelter, I have a new Psychiatrist, I have a Psychologist I see weekly, I got my job back (and I start Monday!), and I have a strong support group that I didn't have before. In a couple months I hope to have a new apartment and a pair of cats to help with my mood. All 10K fans missed you and we are super glad you are back. Make sure you have a strong support group.
Fun fact: on the beach scene, under sabrettparasol there is a guy who selling hot dog and that old man is stan lee the creator of xmen comics, and he made cameo in every marvel movies!!
"Don't worry" too much. Life happens. Day by day. Try to enjoy the process, even when your mind tries to move between sadness and happiness. Never lose focus on what you try to make. Happy birthday. And remember, go forward for Frodo!

Keep up the great work can’t wait for the rest of the series for anyone commenting. Try not to spoil anything things can and will be explained when they won’t spoil future movies
For the blue lady, the process took eight hours to apply and two to remove, forcing the blue lady Rebecca Romijn to undertake 24 hour workdays to play the role.
36:42 "I don't see the point of that line." Yeah, most viewers think it feels out of place. Apparently it was originally the punchline for some sort of running joke the Toad kept saying, but all the rest ended up on the cutting room floor during editing.
Congratulations on 10K subscribers, #Sessis, and thank you for the awesome movie reaction. I love you very much, and I'm still supporting you because I enjoy watching your reactions to different movies, and also because your content is absolutely amazing.
Rogue is an underrated character. In the comics, she was briefly a villain due to manipulation. She ended up basically killing Captian Marvel by holding on to her, and rogue acquired some of marvels powers permanently. Super strength and durability plus the ability to fly. I suppose it will be a while if you are watching all of these in order, but I really look forward to your reaction to “Logan”.
Personally i hate rhe Logan movie, show everyone weak, depressed, senile. Biggest waste of money making it and time watching it. Trying to forget it myself.
Terrific reaction from the most beautiful reactor on UA-cam 🙂. This movie made Hugh Jackman a star as Logan/Wolverine which is ironic since he wasn't even supposed to be in the movie. thanks for fighting off your depression to record this for us, we appreciate all your hard work, congrats on 10k and happy birthday from your friends in America 🎂.
@@Sessis it's a crazy twist, Dougray Scott was supposed to play Logan but he was stuck on Mission impossible 3, Hugh Jackman who no one had ever heard of stepped in, and this role made him a super star, Dougray however faded into the pages of history. Sessis, depression is a tricky thing. It is deeply personal and different in all people. Hang in there. I suffer from depression, PTSD, severe social anxiety and agoraphobia. I have lost most of the people in my life because of this. No one would listen, actually listen to me. They offered superficial advice and went on their way. Find someone who will listen to you. Someone you can have a deep conversation with. They don't have to say much, just empathize and be there for you. My birthday was 3 days ago. I spent it alone. Even my mom did not acknowledge it. This is partially my fault. I moved to a house on the side of a mountain in the middle of nowhere to escape the pain others causing me. Mistake. Now I have pain for being absolutely alone. Don't make the same mistakes. Humans are social animals. Pushing others away only hurts yourself. You are young, smart, and pretty. And you bring joy to others thru this channel. You are one of the people who help me get to the next day. It is a rare gift.

Marvel went on to create the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) starting with Iron Man (2008) giving birth to the Marvel films we know today. This is probably one of the best reactions to X-Men I have ever seen! You are so clever and inquisitive in the best ways possible and you seem to figure things out quick! I really enjoy your commentary and enthusiasm! I hope you are doing better! I'm excited to see more of your reactions! Hopefully you like the series enough to check out X-Men 97 after you finish the films! It is quite amazing!
The wolverine is a real animal, kind of like a badger, or a tougher breed of it. You mentioned a half human, half werewolf myth. That might be more descriptive of a Wendigo, which also happens to be a person turned into a beast that wanders forests. It is also one of Wolverine's enemies.
Ah, this right here is true! And, I am old enough to know! Huge Blade fan, and fell in love with it at the theatre. Blade really doesn't get the credit it deserves! Man, I need to pull out my Blade soundtrack, it's been awhile!
HI Sessis. Sorry about your depression. Feels like being in a dark hole that you can't get our of. I've had it since high school. You are adorable with a beautiful smile. Hope either things in your life get better, or you are able to find a way to rise above the problems. Wish I could promise you that things will get better, but you never know what life will give to you next. Cross my fingers for you. Keep smiling, we think you are awesome! Take care sweetie.
Hey Sess! Happy belated birthday and congratulations on the continued success and growth of your channel!! Wishing you nothing but the best of wishes as you continue to thrive and prosper! 😊 Sorry to hear that you've been struggling with the darkness lately.. It is unfortunately a complication so many of us face in our day to day lives. If you haven't seen it yet I would recommend the Disney/Pixar film Inside Out. It is a very interesting look at the mental struggles we deal with. And I really think you'd enjoy its message! Take care and all my best!
What Senator Kelly was talking about in his first scene in the big room full of people, the scenarios he was describing, some of them wouldn't work. Like the girl in Illinois that could walk through walls. He postulated her going into a bank vault or the White House. Those two situations wouldn't work for two reasons, the bank vault wouldn't work for the reason of just because SHE can walk through walls, doesn't mean the money can go through the walls, too. So, stealing from a bank wouldn't work. And walking through the White House walls wouldn't work, because of the Secret Service agents. If she managed to get past the ones on the outside, she'd never make it to where the President would be, either in the Oval Office, or his bedroom, if it happened at night...without getting shot about ten billion times all over her body. She can walk through walls, but bullets still kill. Also, on a different note, I don't understand during the scene where they were looking for Rogue in the train station, why they had Sabretooth go up against Storm and Magneto go after Wolverine. Wouldn't it be more appropriate and satisfying for Wolverine and Sabretooth fight it out while Magneto and Storm take each other on. Now, THAT would be more like what SHOULD happen.
Oh my gosh, first time watching and you got all the story twists or subtle hints and you are also so likeable as a person that I have no worry you will have 100k+ subs sooner or later if you keep doing that. Also sorry to hear about your depression, I know very well the solutiuon is not about someone telling you to be positive and be around friends, that doesn't really fix it entirely. Nevertheless I wish you all the best and strenght to deal with it, you are wonderful person.
People who are actually bad project the fear they have of themselves onto others then they say we dont know what these people are capable of but what they actually afraid of is the evil within their own hearts and minds
Hello Sessis, I'm happy that you're feeling well enough to make another video. I'd like to pass on a little wisdom that I hope will help you survive and feel better about the world we share. You can't change the world. What you can do is work to make your little corner of it better. Lots of Love, A Fan
Just found your channel today! Loved your reaction, anyone who knows who “Sookie” & “Teddy” are, is someone with good taste in film and television!!! I can’t wait to check out your other reactions! Anna Paquin plays “Rouge” & “Sookie” she made her film debut at the age of 11 and won an Oscar for her performance in the film “The Piano” from 1993. I love the X-Men! As others have mentioned they are the big Marvel focus this year with the Deadpool & Wolverine movie coming this summer. There is also a new animated series called X-Men 97’ streaming right now. It is a continuation of the X-Men animated series that originally aired from 1992-1996 If you have the opportunity I highly recommend watching the OG animated series and the X-Men 97’ at some point. I think you would enjoy it given your reaction to this movie, and your familiarity with other Marvel films.
hi Sessis, there are 3 original (main) movies, and then there are some where they went back in time to the beginning of their powers and forming of the X-men, but these movies are with other actors, enjoy
Ty for the lovely content and sharing your experience c: Btw, just for clarity in case u are still confused: the blades are indeed part of his body, but the metal his claws and the rest of his skeleton are covered in, are not natural to him
First of all you should 100% watch all the X-men movies and second of all Magneto is the best character there is and i love him soo much, maybe couse i kinda feel i can relate to him more then Professor X. and when it comes to the discussion of is Magneto a bad guy or not i would say he is not but he is not a good good guy either but i think he is a good guy if that makes sense, but they did magneto dirty in these ones not that he is a bad character here its just in the newer ones he got much more depth. and for the last thing. | Sessis - i don't see a point of that line. Sess i gonna be honest no one does, everyone hates that line
Lol, Farzan. Even us old guys HATED that line when we watched it in theatres in the year 2000! HATED it! The rest of the move was so good! Actually Halle Berry got quite a bit of backlash back in the day, because she was considered crap as Storm. I don't really see that much anymore. I was never a big fan of Storm anyways, Wolverine and Gambit were my boys, and Rogue was my girl, so I didn't really care.
Yes, English can be difficult - hell, there a LOT of people in the United States that can't speak it worth a damn! But your English is a lot better than my Swedish but mostly because I don't know ANY Swedish! 😁 But allow me make a suggestion that will put a smile on your face: react to the 1965 movie "The Great Race". I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
do a rotation of the X-Men movies & Spider-Man movies if you haven’t seen them. Deadpool 3 in July will be a junction point for the older & newest Marvel movies. 14:15 yes! god that’s my favorite show ever 🤠🤖
@@Sessis It's funny, at a certain point, I thought "Ooh, I wonder if she'll do a Mystique cosplay... Nah, we couldn't be that lucky." And then you mentioned it yourself about 1 minute later. 😅
Fantastic reaction ❤ Stay with the X-MEN franchise. Some are great, and some less remarkable. You’re beautiful and awesome 😎 Keep it up 👍 Happy Birthday 🎁
Heya Sess, sorry I am just getting to this one. I've been really busy with classes, but I really wanted to make sure I watched this one. I am glad you liked it, and I hope you watch the rest! None of them (even though people will tell you Last Stand is bad, it really isn't) are that bad. X-Men First Class is my personal Favorite. I haven't read any other comment so I am sure I am about to repeat some stuff. So the X-Men as you may have figured out is a allegory of the LGBTQIA community and is very pertinent to the Trans community today. Like you said at the beginning, hits close to reality doesn't it? Yet it came out 24 years ago. Sad huh? Wolverine always had a crush on Jean, but I do believe she really never returned those feelings. The casting was one of the best ever for a franchise, they pretty much nailed everything. And you made me proud with the Storm line because us nerds when this movie came out in 2000, HATED the "Toad lightning" line...and I mean HATED it! I still cringe! Great Job as usual.
29:15 Less than 1:100 psychopaths are actually dangerous. Sociopaths are the ones you should be worried about they are more than twice as likely to be violent as psychopaths.
Just found your channels, I love these movies, great reaction too, Love your responses about senator Kelly in the intro, super perceptive, sorry to hear about the depression, I have dealt with mental health since a child, thoughts and prayers. Are you one of those 200 iq people, cause you really saw thru almost all the plots..actually all of them;)
I have decent pattern recognition and over analytical mind most of the time but I wouldn’t say I have some kind of high iq. I’ve never been tested for iq though so don’t know. But would guess I’m about average intelligence. I’m very interested in media and the role media has in society etc
Unfortunately the Jean Grey and Scott (Cyclops) actors' chemistry, age difference, or both didn't make their relationship very believable here. Jean's actress was about 36 and Scott's about 27. Considering Storm's Halle Berry at about 34, Scott's James Marten was simply too young.
Ehhhh, that age difference is negligible. I just don't think there was chemistry period. Now, there was DEFINITELY chemistry between Famke and Hugh! Which I always thought was funny. Honestly I think it was just the way they wrote it, they didn't give it time to marinate.
Kul att se en svensk reakction. :) Most X-men movies are good and worth watching (Not X3) Don't get into Deadpool before you've seen the wolverine and first class movies.

I am so glad to get watch this movie with you. I saw this in the theater with a friends he took me a surprise. Thank you for everything that you are.
The wolverine is a real animal, kind of like a badger, or a tougher breed of it. You mentioned a half human, half werewolf myth. That might be more descriptive of a Wendigo, which also happens to be a person turned into a beast that wanders forests. It is also one of Wolverine's enemies.

If it wasn’t for Wesley Snipe playing Blade this Marvel Comic Film and the others wouldn’t have been made possible
I hope we both will get out of our depression. Thank you for the very kind and encouraging comments 🩷
Lol Yes Jean is Scotts girl, they are in a relationship
grew up watching it and love it
That most have been cool to watch it when a kid
You should check out the X-Men the animated series
Hello Sessis,
I'm happy that you're feeling well enough to make another video. I'd like to pass on a little wisdom that I hope will help you survive and feel better about the world we share. You can't change the world. What you can do is work to make your little corner of it better.
Lots of Love,
A Fan
It is a continuation of the X-Men animated series that originally aired from 1992-1996
If you have the opportunity I highly recommend watching the OG animated series and the X-Men 97’ at some point. I think you would enjoy it given your reaction to this movie, and your familiarity with other Marvel films.
hi Sessis, there are 3 original (main) movies, and then there are some where they went back in time to the beginning of their powers and forming of the X-men, but these movies are with other actors, enjoy
Ty for the lovely content and sharing your experience c:
Btw, just for clarity in case u are still confused: the blades are indeed part of his body, but the metal his claws and the rest of his skeleton are covered in, are not natural to him
First of all you should 100% watch all the X-men movies and second of all Magneto is the best character there is and i love him soo much, maybe couse i kinda feel i can relate to him more then Professor X. and when it comes to the discussion of is Magneto a bad guy or not i would say he is not but he is not a good good guy either but i think he is a good guy if that makes sense, but they did magneto dirty in these ones not that he is a bad character here its just in the newer ones he got much more depth. and for the last thing.
3:00 Decennium is swedish (and probably latin) for decade. Century is a huntred years.
Yes, English can be difficult - hell, there a LOT of people in the United States that can't speak it worth a damn! But your English is a lot better than my Swedish but mostly because I don't know ANY Swedish! 😁
But allow me make a suggestion that will put a smile on your face: react to the 1965 movie "The Great Race".
Sorry to hear you've had the blues so bad. We're all so happy to have a new vid from you! 🎉❤
Thank you!
@@Sessis It's funny, at a certain point, I thought "Ooh, I wonder if she'll do a Mystique cosplay... Nah, we couldn't be that lucky." And then you mentioned it yourself about 1 minute later. 😅
Happy birthday! What kind of foods are your favorite? Do you have any pets?
Logan vs Victor Creed was a great fight
May there always be a light to lead you out of the darkness.
I have no advice. Take care and best wishes. I liked the reaction. Will be waiting for the rest.
Arcane, Game of Thrones and Better Call Saul are must watches. Masterpieces.
Keep up the fight against depression, you will win. You are a good soul
Thank you! Arcane is on my to watch list 😃
Super reaction. You are quick in figuring things out. Thank you.
Fantastic reaction ❤
Stay with the X-MEN franchise. Some are great, and some less remarkable.
You’re beautiful and awesome 😎
Keep it up 👍
Happy Birthday 🎁
Thank you so much!!
Hi Sessis 👋. I hope you are well. Your hair looks great today 👌
I love X Men my favorite movies and Hugh Jackson is wolverine the best actors and also happy birthday to you Sessis to all America ❤😘🎉
True blood was a great series and books
I hope you feel better and staying safe in your life and great year in 2024.
8:00 No a wolverine is an animal, Järv in swedish.
Very happy to see you again.🌹
29:15 Less than 1:100 psychopaths are actually dangerous. Sociopaths are the ones you should be worried about they are more than twice as likely to be violent as psychopaths.
Oh Nooo she put the dingi in the thing
That's a nice video! And when you make the next movie reaction, you have got to react to Kung Fu Panda 3!! It's a really good movie!
Love this movie, mostly for nostalgia reasons
You're amazing! I'm a man of few words.😄
Thank you! 😃
Awesome, happy birthday
Wolverine är järv på svenska. One of the meanest animals together with the honey badger
Grattis på födelsedagen och ta hand om dig 🤗😘
Forget all those X-Men movie recommendations. See X-Men 97 first.
You're pretty jumpy Miss; I'd pay tickets to see you watch "The Conjuring"... 😅
Happy Birthday.
Thank you!
Wait till she sees the next one
you arnt going to be alone on your birthday, youre with use on your birthday.
Sebartooth and logan are brothers...😅😅😅
"There's one or two more, I think"
There's 9 more...
Kul att se en svensk reakction. :) Most X-men movies are good and worth watching (Not X3) Don't get into Deadpool before you've seen the wolverine and first class movies.
