- I developed and recorded some Giant 7 meter long flutes for the soundtrack of the movie 'The Whale' by Darren Aronofsky.
Composer Rob Simonsen found some old footage on my youtube channel and asked me to cooperate on the soundtrack of the film.
After going over the atmospheres and sounds he was looking for I started building some huge new instruments and recorded improvisations on these for the soundtrack in a chapel in Gent. The sound is enormous!
New video of these coming soon!
Here is a short edit of some footage I shot at the world premiere of 'The Whale' by Darren Aronofsky during the Venice film festival.

Great work Winne! I look forward to seeing your ventures progress following the sure success of The Whale. People are bound to ask about and research these flutes upon seeing the film.
That being said - and after seeing your videos on them - thank you for educating us about these wonderful creations! These and the Kaval are so beautifully crafted.
Hi! Congrats for the achievement!
