    Thank you so much for these videos!!! My father brought a fujara over from Slovakia to Canada (where we live now). It has been sitting in our house for over 30 years and nobody really knew how to play it. I picked it up a couple fo years ago started to learn to play it by ear. I am very happy to learn some more and improve through this series. Thank you again!

      This is a WONDERFUL instrument ! I felt in love with this sound years ago, without knowing which kind of instrument it was. Then I saw a video where Winne was playing... and I bought him a fujara ! I don't play every day, but every time I play, this is so magical for me: you hold the instrument close to your body, and you think like the sound is a part of yourself.
      I guess this is what is used here :

    I have been playing didjeridu for 23 years as a hobby. I would love to learn how to play fujara. I would like to get a instrument from you unless you recommend otherwise. It seems I could get a fairly inexpensive one on Etsy locally I am here in California. But think it would be better to get one from a master like yourself.

    Another thing : "The very fondamental" note, the loudest : I can play the G, then A - B - C, but then it's impossible for me to reach the upper notes (D E F) until the next G. Is it normal ?
    And also : I really like the last seconds of the video ! :D

    • @1fujara
      @1fujara  4 роки тому

      Hello Jean -Marc, when you close all the holes you should be able to play (from the first octave so "fundamental" ) G D G B D F G A B highest notes might be difficult depending on your technique and also your fujara. , then when you use the bottom hole open and closed: G A D E G A B C and then the rest as before with holes closed so D F G A B
      Hah yes the ending, you might have been the first to have actually seen it hah ;-)

    • @jean-marcleblond6500
      @jean-marcleblond6500 4 роки тому

      @@1fujara I meant when I open the hole one by one (the note which follow each other in the scale, from the loudest note "G": i can play G-A-B-C, but not D-E-F).
