I like how you ask people for consent. That’s really cool. I see many people on UA-cam casually take close up shots of people faces without permission, then straight upload them to public
Looks kinda cool and pretty vintage-y. Can't help to think about how's the performance for video, but for a hundred bucks though... Is it just me or with Fuji lenses you feel forced to constantly look for a good compromise for videos and stills? You feel me? I can't decide! (I only managed to buy the 16mm after the kit lens)
I already got ones after see the review on the youtube (many people review it). but gonna say it again, this lens along side with 35mm f1.4 version is gorgeous to have if you want to capture people portrait or street photography, especially in night (thanks to large aperture). the contrast is quite nice too! the softness is does there (due simpler lens construction), but again that is make this lens make it unique character. one of my best purchase for my cameras.
Cool, I've been eyeing those lenses. Can I make a suggestion - Move text overlays like the f-stops a couple of pixels up. This way they won't end up outside of the screen if someones watching on smartphone zoomed in to fit/fill the screen.
Great lens to play with. I've got the 25mm f/2 on my X-H2. Do you use the "focus zoom" on the LCD/EVF to check your manual focusing? I'm new to fuji and I still couldn't find a way to easily check my focus, other than pressing the joystick button on the back of the camera a few times to bring the zoom focus window up.
I have this on GH5 and i use only F1.6 not more open. F1.6 is best compromise to bokeh and sharpness. For this price (449PLN) is best lens ever for M43 and APSC.
"This is camera - camera with specs and numbers. This is also camera - different specs, numbers." I literally spit my drink laughing out loud. 🤣Subscribed.
Hi - Interesting video with some nice photos - What aperture at 6:05? and the eye portrait in the car at 6:20 ? - Just a last question, no grain in post in lightroom or other? I ask because i really like this grain, very roll of film - Thanks and Best
44-2 should be softer and have less color and saturation. Even my 44-m4 does. Overrated IMO. My favorite vintage to adapt is a Fujinon EBC 50mm 1.4 I speed boosted the color sharpness and contrast, both global and micro, are all so much better. Even better than konica, Zuiko, Zeiss flektogon, Canon FD, and others I've had. Only thing I don't like is 6 aperature blades makes hella hexagons even one stop down, also I think it's full stops only on the aperature ring. So, I've ordered this lens now to make up for those things when I need them.
It's a very old tried and true Zeiss Sonnar or Planar recipe in most of these cases and it's a 50mm which are easy to make. Pair that with Chinese manufacturing costs and probably tooling and machinery that's been paid off, it allows for incredible affordability. Very little design and R&D which they contracted to the optics company to make slight improvements to the old recipe.
Very nice shoots 👍🏻 The colours match perfectly to the style of the photos. Are theses out of camera with Fuji film simulation or post processed photos? I like how your are communicating with people. Very respectful 👏
Thanks for sharing. F/1.2 that should get the juicers Going 😂👍 lol. First the helios, now a manual 50mm. Starting to sound like a photographer 😜💯 great video
You suck! haha just kidding, thought that was hilarious how you said it towards the end of the video :) Cool video man, am gonna get one from them to test it out on my channel and wanted to see how the quality and results are. Subbed - you got a cool channel Cheers from Switzerland ;)

Hi, which Fujifilm camera are you using?

Which better ttartisans 50mm12 vs7artisans55mm17. Pls help.thanks
Snappy vid, with good video, cool pics and regular to camera moments, with good information - plus a bit of life in the town. Nice formula.
Cool, I've been eyeing those lenses.
Can I make a suggestion - Move text overlays like the f-stops a couple of pixels up. This way they won't end up outside of the screen if someones watching on smartphone zoomed in to fit/fill the screen.
That's a great suggestion, thank ya man

Do some black and white photography with this lens. The lens only has 7 elements in 5 groups. So it should be a dope black and white lens.
I have been wanting a manual lens for my X-Pro3 and this may be the one. Thanks guys. Great images...
I know you’re like “not a photographer” or whatever but your photos look awesome! Keep it up!
thank you dood. these kinds of vids are fun to make cause it's forcing me to get better
would you say this is sharper than the kamlan 50mm f.1??
Excellent video. Just use below f/2.8 and preset focus on the lens barrel. 😊
How you setting on your fujifilm like this color picture
I need setting like you to on my fujifilm
These photos look incredible. Did you use a recipe or post process?

Not sure but remember a video were you showed your helios 44-2 lens? How do they compare?
yeah I still have it, maybe I should do a little comparison!

Would you use this for wedding videography?
Amazing subject separation. Great lens for street. I'm sold.
You took very pleasing pictures, good job!
100 bucks? You got scammed bro. It sells for 80 bucks on most places. 65 bucks in China. That lens is a bargain.
Have You Tried The 7Artisan 17 MM …
Skepticism is high when this is posted on April fools day

Why a 1.2 lens review without night photography? Makes 0 sense
Any flagship smartphones could have beautifully captured those types of snapshots.
All good but chromatic aberration
