  • BMI less than 18.5 is considered to be underweight. Gaining weight is equally difficult as losing it .This is due to body's set point of weight. With consistent healthy changes in diet ,we can achieve ideal and desirable weight. One thumb rule should be ,gaining weight should only be through healthy sources. I am sharing 7 simple ways through which one can easily gain weight.
    1) Replace skimmed milk with full fat milk or prepare items with homemade condensed milk
    2) Along with fruits, also use fruits juices
    3) Use healthy oils as salad dressings or meal dressings
    4) Use nut,seeds and dry fruits liberally and prepare homemade granula bars,chikki or laddu out of it
    5) Use calories dense food like paratha,missiroti or rice in place of thin daliya or khichdi
    6) Use paneer, cheese and tofu to increase calorie value of food
    7) Don't be scared to workout.Exercise improves appetite and there by your weight grows.
