My dear fav doctor, 🤍🤍 Can you pls enlighten us over **betnesol 12 mg injection** .... what are the situations when it use to be suggested? Is it mandatory for all pregnant women? Why the week varies women to women or sometimes varies doctor to doctor? I have obstetric cholestasis starting from my 18th week of pregnancy which is somehow rear scenario at this early stage and my doctor prescribed two jabs of betnesol 12 mg injection in 24hrs gap in 29th week of my pregnancy(currently going on)...but it is said in few places over the internet to avoid it during pregnancy or if liver problems exists...and as we know Cholestasis during pregnancy is purely a liver problem.... then how this injection stands valid for me??? Please reply ma'am.... huge fan of your videos...
It's not mandatory in all cases however all cases who are at high risk of premature delivery then to speed up lung maturity and thus better better survival of premature fetus steroid betamethasone or dexamethasone are given by gynecologist
