- When Praggnanandhaa played the second classical game, he was in a must-win situation against Arjun Erigaisi. That's because Arjun had won his first classical game. Now with the white pieces, Arjun just needed a draw. To fight for a win with black pieces against a player of Arjun's calibre is never easy. Would Pragg be able to do? Or would he be knocked out. These matches proved that both these players dont succumb to pressure. They actually play the best under pressure
1) Prag won must win classical match
2) Arjun won back to back must-win Rapid and Blitz matches
3) Prag came 35 secs late to the final match but still played the best, won the match
Maybe this only proves both of them collapse under pressure?
