Some suspension is always a good idea. My 20 year old Cannondale XS800 cross bike has a 30mm Headshock that takes the buzz out of bad roads. But thd geometry is still fairly trad. And it can't take discs. A Stigmata, with more MTB geo and no proprietary tech, sounds like an ideal replacement to me. After 2 decades, I guess it's time.
Wondering how compromised this would be to use as a road bike, but put the new Reserve 52 63 rims on it and 32mm tyres? Have it as a road, commute and gravel bike all in one. My other option is yo get the SL7 comp and put that Reserve wheelset on it as a rapid road bike.

Take a look at the 2018 Salsa Warbird Ultegra. That was my favorite bike until it got hit by a car. Salsa put an awful logo on the down tube now so I'm not buying one. Plus their colors are all bad. If Enve puts some decent paint on the MOG it would be interesting, but they need to offer some OEM groupsets so they don't cost $12,000 to build. Put a head badge on the bike and leave the logos off the side. The logos don't need to have fonts larger than 1/2" (12mm) high. If they are not paying me to ride their bike, they can keep the logos off the side. Imagine driving a car around that had the brand logo on the side from the windows to the bottom of the doors. Cheesy right? Why is this a thing in the bike industry? It's so tacky.

All he had to do was take the bike to get air and be on his way. My friend did not have any major problems putting this bike together; small issue was putting one of the brakes on straight; however when the son got home he was able to fix it. The bike rides well gears move correctly; good bike for the price. Wrote review after the son took the bike. Sorry.
Why no rack/top/fork mounts? This is definitely not a race bike (pros doesn't count) and frameset is already porky. Few alu rivets wouldn't change much, but could've made this a great adventure bike.
The stigmata is definitely designed as a versatile lighter weight gravel bike that includes racing. Not just for the pros. It's fast an sleek without a ton of rack mounts all over the place and there are plenty of non-rackmount options out there if a bikepacking set-up is what you are looking for.

We do not have a discount program for financial hardship, sorry. But we would recommend checking out the used bike marketplace where you can usually find recent gen 5010 models in great shape in your price range. Good luck!
Wow you serious bro??! Let me break it down for you.. the highball couldn’t keep up with the gravel bike on pavement or smooth fire roads.. Yet the “gravel bike” can also be used on light trails. But with no where near the capability of a mountain bike. That’s the difference.. the gravel bike is basically a Road bike that can see some dirt. That is all..
This video is dreadful and makes me NOT want to buy. All of the silly high school media project like double takes to camera by the presenter, corrections and going off script but letting us know about it in an attempt to be different or cool in some way is annoying and amateurish. This could have been a send it, instead it’s just a big cased it.
Garen's sense of humor, and the fact that Santa Cruz would let it shine in this promo video, makes me want to buy this bike.

Bought the rival 1 and want to upgrade the spindle for power meter spindle but no but there is no mention on the bikes spidle size

Looks like a great bike and a solid update! On your website I only saw clearance for 700c wheels listed. Will it take 650b wheels as well?
Designed specifically for 700c wheels on this version, and has added clearance up to 700x50c tires.

Needs metallic gloss paint (not earth tones or black). Shimano Grx 825. Take the billboard logo off the side of the down tube. Then I would consider.
You should check out the new colors then. There's a gloss black with metallic sparkle and a matte black logo that sounds just like you described.
