If you're able to get to the harbour mouth, in some storms(not as bad as this) the sea running into the harbour briefly holds its shape so you are looking at a wall of water, before it then it collapses onto the pier
Spectacular, but I wouldn't want to put my car anywhere near the sea in that sort of weather. Salt water is going to eat all the metal parts for breakfast. OK if you are going to change your car every few years, I suppose. We just spent the week down at Westward Ho! and the waves throw large pebbles up onto the shore, so that is an added hazard.

I have never seen the weather as bad as this for so long, but still you get the thrill seekers inches away from what could be that fatal wave.
It just seems to be non stop at the moment . Let’s hope it’s not like this till March 🙈🙈

Yeah we have a lot of rusty cars up here due to the sea air and the seagull s**t 🤣🤣
