- Tyler1 recently called LCS pros “fucking disgusting, social anixety-ridden fuckfaces” and has accused one pro in particular of openly griefing his ranked games.
Some people have backed him up, others have criticised him - and one of them is none other than Doublelift. Here’s what happened…

Remember: It's not trolling when esports pros do it.
Its never trolling because soft inters never get banned unless they type
So many examples of signed pros from all games. When they don’t feel like it, they no-comm, troll and tell their teammates getting annoyed “bro relax it’s just ranked”. But when they get teammates acting exactly how they did, they get mad and say “it’s ranked, go play unrated if you want to chill”.
Doublelift really trying to get the moral high ground when he literally was complaining about the same thing T1 was complaining about years ago 😅.

doublelift is fake. i think tyler has a point about calling them paycheck thiefs. doublelift has no validation taking the moral high ground when, not too long ago, he was dating someone that was conflict of interest. i don't like doublelift in any regard. in my opinion, these pros are jealous of tyler's success. especially after getting challenger in every role. at the end of the day, it's whatever. NA and EU pros don't have the same passion as their eastern counterparts.

I used to really like DL (I wasn't around during his Peak) I only liked him because I related to him when his family was tragically unalived by his own brother...
I also liked his personality a bit. He seemed chill and sometimes funny.
But the more I watched him, the more I realized how much of a selfish hypocrite he is and I don't really like someone who's trying to be an "online personality" but is dishonest with his fans.
Kinda sad to see how everyone in the comments just clown on him but I have to say, he deserves it.

You could be soft inting and root won’t ban you but if you say a word to him then “you’re banned” reason why I stopped putting in effort to win. I only do the minimum of what’s asked of me. And this is me being in bottom of diamond. Few seasons why when I got to d1 it was mentally exhausting as an adc main where the role has 0 impact. Autopilot league is the way to go. He's right. The local NA players aren't great, and the imports don't try nearly as hard when they come to a country they don't care about with a contract already written down. These players make their money and never strive for the same level of excellence as EU, CN, KR, and others do.

NA, we used to go to EU servers and troll, so i wouldnt be surprised if other servers do the same.
At some elo's it's hard rising up simply from trolls/bots, making it time consuming. Lowering base average numbers for players.
Most people make money from streaming, and you don't need to be the best, you just need to be very good, and be very funny. Trolling, while doing high skilled things, is content. Easy money. It's more likely to gain money from streaming than preparing for tournaments.
its not that imports aren't trying its more so they don't know how to play with or against NA teams. Its a different type of game in the sense of priorities
I mean when a person who managed to get 5 accounts challenger in different roles talks about pation and drive I think it's fair to critique what he perceives as lack of, especially since he is not getting paid by a team to play soloq, once upon a time it was a badge of honor having multiple accounts in challenger as the old C9 crew with Hai, Meteos, Sneaky even Wild turtle was picked for TSM for his dedication to play and maintain challenger accounts as Chaos kinda lost the drive by the end of his career.
Players like Faker have thousands upon thousands of soloq games and it's shows when they are on stage, of course they dont carry every game and feed some times but I think Tyler is talking about limit testing at least he has a plataform to say it and people can watch the game to see if he is right.

as an LCS fan who loves this region and wants it to succeed tyler1 is 1000000% right. there are SO FEW pros who try even in the LCS and want to actually improve the region. NA is so objectively the worst major region and should probably relegate to a minor region if we dont start fucking trying. Minor regions like the VCS shows so much more hunger to actually make deep runs in ITL play and win while also developing new talent and it's insane that people still pretend the LCS is anything at all when you watch these minor teams. As a fan from the vcs, I has to say that you have no idea how wrong you are. Vcs is like lcs but 100 times worse, they don’t even care about winning anymore. That why GAM could use the same strategy for years which everyone know and still be the king of the vcs. Not to mention all rumors about players intentionally losing game. Hell, vcs Riot actually ban an entire team - sbtc for losing on purpose.
@@user-ob5dj1pp9z I get what you are saying, and i didnt mean that the VCS in its current state is strictly better than the LCS. What i mean was that the VCS has several young and seriously mechanically talented players who want to win, who are passionate about the game and i think could become real international players. Additonally, even if GAM is the most conistent, TW and TS are showing real promise, and players like Taki and Shogun when they were on SGB were a seriously strong bot lane duo even against incredibly good opponents. The VCS might not be perfect, and neither is the LCS, but from what ive seen i think it has the potential to be a strong region, especially with more development of younger players and two teams going to worlds each year.

People need to actually separate their own opinions about the person, to actually what they are saying, can be frustrating to some, but Tyler is actually right in this situation.
Completely deserved, franchising has annihilated NA League (which I guess is a root issue because that was the end goal of LoL- to monetize the MOBA genre rather than an actual passion project), it's the same pro players recycled again and again suppressing the opportunity for new ones and that culture is reflected on the tone of ladder. People act like NA is no good at MOBAS when that's clearly not the case if you look at Dota, there's no drive to improve because it's not cutthroat at all and people's spots are guaranteed despite subpar performance. Combined with the fact that foreign teams aren't sparring with them because NA refused to very early on and now have received the same treatment back + meta slave mentality and overall gameplay just being "let's copy Korea," so they just play a shittier version of their gameplan because they are always going to be behind on current tech is just embarrassing. Just by sheer populace NA is viable in quite literally every game and sport because just numerically there's bound to be talented players but none of that matters obviously when they're just jailed out from the top like in League which in turn murdered the culture of competitiveness on ladder because it doesn't matter, 0 sympathy for NA pro scene, it's a self inflicted wound.
I said this literally years ago when they announced franchising. I said it would ruin any NA talent growth and people got told me "nooooo it'll promote growth cause they dont have to worry about money now" but that's always a lie in NA cause NA always tries to find a way to steal money. Finally glad to see everyone coming around
To be fair NA scrimmed against EU (c9 before their game with I believe Fnatic) who then told Fnatic, as Fnatic started target banned their comps practiced from the gate. I wouldn't want to scrim other regions after that either lol

There was an instance where T1 was on a team with a jungler and they did great and nearly carried for a win and the VERY NEXT GAME he was teamed up with the same exact player and one thing was said to that jungler and they ran it down hard

There's been pro's griefing in solo q for years. TES Qingtian got called out by Faker and punished a few years back, and T1 ADC Gumayusi was also fined. That's just two that came up on first page of search, there's probably more, and who knows how many that didn't get caught or called out.

i think phyosic after winning worlds witrh drx went to lcs for a seasons and now that hes back in lck he said how dissaponted he was with the region because they see being pro as a job and they dont play as much as other pro players do,he said he was frustrated by their little practice and how little they actually cared about becoming better. yes other players from other regions also run it down some times but they at least try to learn from mistakes or something,unless its a 0/12 game where they just play it

as a master in Eu. Na. SEA servers i played with pros and NA pros are like a genie in a bottle sometimes good soemtimes bad especially the older one's in China they take it all seriously they also flame in chat so much like pings and chat but thet always have good standards and decision making

I've been out of the game for 2 years now, and I would NEVER walk in front of a minion wave knowing Blitz is on the other team let alone spotted near a tower. Could be Blitz being lucky, or Core having a bad play streak, but still man...

There are plenty of pros in other esports that don’t play ranked at all let alone ones who play and not care all that much. The LCS’s problems are much bigger than pros throwing T1’s ranked games lol
No see there's a massive difference there. Not playing ranked is fine. Intentionally throwing ranked games is not, because of the simple fact that it creates bad habits and puts you in a bad mental state overall. If you are used to just throwing when shit happens in a game you don't like, if you form that habit, you will take it with you into the pro games.

It's been what like 13 years of pro league and the general playbook is still: farm for 20 minutes, team fight at dragon, one team throws at baron, game ends. The quality of pro games literally has not gone up in over a decade. They still make the same stupid decisions over and over and over. There is no change, no learning, no growth. Sure some players have become better on an individual level, but the macro level teamplay is still the same garbage Dignitas used to do back in like season 3.
underrated comment lmao. the other regions improved (sure some teams in other regions still do these mistakes but generally not because they learned the lesson and it became a fundamental piece of their play) while NA didnt move a step. Cloud9 continues at the top of the region with the most fraud gameplay ever because no one punishes their greed. they get away with anything so they will never learn.

-top laner/jg dies once then basically goes afk
-teammate dies once and dc’s
-hard carry every game, but doesn’t matter because usually 2/5 players on your team aren’t trying or are coming down off being drunk/high
-you have a 78% winrate, lose 2-3 games, then proceed to get +18lp -30lp
-teammate locks in troll top or support & you auto lose
-teammates start arguing & both proceed to afk when it really doesn’t matter to either player
There are many problems with league, I am a casual solo queue player, I play maybe a game or two every other day. It’s sad to see I 100% run into these situations almost every time I hop on (current rank is emerald 4). I’m not sure how to fix the game, but the player base makes the game basically unplayable if you’re actually trying to win.

The main takeaway from this game is to not play soloq ranked league BECAUSE it’s not worth losing your mental over teammates that might be trolling or are just having a bad game. Play league with friends and have fun. It’s not worth raging just to get some LP and lose it again next season when ranks are reset.

We have some pretty decent players on the ladder in NA, but these goddamn orgs keep importing some tier 4 no name import. The best of the player base saw little point in going pro cause the opportunities they could've had were overlooked by shortsighted GMs and owners especially in the start of franchising.

I actually think Tyler1 is the only one man on the hill who has a voice that Riot will listen to in representation of the community on the games horrible state. Everyone else like Doublelift is just quietly not trying to fight the company that gave them their careers, but Tyler1 is the only non shy guy thats willing to look like the bad guy to Riot to fix the games issues.

CS pro's run it down in faceit and EMEA, val pros literally just fuck around in ranked most of the time, fortnite pros W key every fight possible in ranked, its crazy that your mad at pro players in league for not caring about ranked cause like, thats the case everywhere, i get it, got to suck when you get one on your team but it also makes sense, ofc they arent gonna take it as seriously as someone that only plays solo queue, for pros ranked is their time to relax, its the less competitive version of the game they play, for solo queue players, solo queue is the most competitive gamemode they play so its more important to them.

Ranked and professional games are so vastly different because it's solo performance and leadership versus playing with people on vc and farming/rotating for 40 minutes straight until an objective is up for grabbing.
Plus Tyler one IS PAID TO PLAY THE GAME and his games have over 20k viewers? more? meanwhile nobody is watching LCS. nobody cares about the games and Riot has to give away free rewards to just grab attention. thing is.. they are boring. and this is why Twitch Rivals and Mr Beast's tournaments were so much more popular than what Riot offered.

T1 is right though. NA pros were literally paid to play champions queue and NO ONE PLAYED hence why they got rid of it.
