I like to think the camera is the warp star, I know what it’s actually following but it fits with this. When you land the platform thing, Meta Knight just comes out like “you got that gas money?” like in his Brawl reveal.
Behold, my masterpiece. This ship truly is wonderful. At about 150 meters long and with 151 guns(7 main batteries, 29 secondary guns and 115 anti aircraft guns), and around 15 stories tall(not including the control tower), this ship truly is perhaps the most dangerous thing in dreamland only being beat out by Kirby himself. Amazing design too.
@@cappykidofficial Three years of hard labor and Kirby destroyed the Halberd on it's maiden voyage. It took ten years to repair and raise it. Sometimes, I wonder if it would have been easier to build a sistership than raise the OG battleship out of the ocean.
Since Universal is plannng on building a Nintendo Themed Area in 2023 at a new park, they can do this and hopefully it will be based on the Revenge Of Meta Knight sub game from Super Star Ultra.
At age 10 I couldn't wrap around my head how badass Meta Knight, a blue Kirby, is for having this whole ship. I'm now 25 and I'm still amazed by how amazing it is. Meta Knight's definitely the best character of all time.
Yep, the yamato is quite important to japanese culture from what I heard its know wonder. The style of the deck seems to be based from the real life battleship yamato. However, the shape of the bridge seems to be based off of the insanely successful(in japan) space battleship yamato anime franchise.
Does the halberd have any sister ship, or is it a one of a kind ship. Also, does the halberd have an air group, or does it just rely on it's AA turrets.
Canonically there’s only one Halberd, but they changed the design up a ton through several of the Kirby series’ games. In Kirby Super Star and it’s remake, some parts of the subgame, Revenge of Meta Knight, take you inside the ship. In some parts, a hangar can be seen in the background, which have some kind of plane-like aircraft. This is the only time they’re ever seen though. Technically it could/does have an Air Group, but it’s more of a Battleship than Carrier anyway. The ship doesn’t have a runway for planes to land, but it does have a couple of Aircraft Catapults to launch planes, like some real world Battleships have. It’s the two strips of grey metal in front of the Combo Cannon, on the rounded portion of the deck. Though in those real life situations, Aircraft Catapults on Battleships were used to launch reconnaissance aircraft, not fighters. If it ever had to deal with a squadron of enemy Aircraft like that, it would probably resort to using AA turrets. Edit: I neglected to mention than an AA battery is exactly what happens in Revenge of Meta Knight. At one point, Kirby attempts to board the Halberd with the Warpstar, only to get shot down by the Combo Cannon’s Laser. Kirby then has to recruit the bird, Dyna Blade, in order to reach the deck. Even while Kirby manages to board the ship, Dyna Blade still is shot down by the Combo Cannon’s Laser. Its crazy that it is able to hit moving targets like it does.
@@bandannadee9370 True, but it’s still a testament to the claw’s strength. I think it could manage to stay together with turns at less than a 90° angle. Otherwise the weight and momentum of the Halberd would probably break it.

The warning alarm at the beginning just fits it so well.
Can we take a moment to recognize how beautiful this halberd ship looks in smash
Ironically, it’s also the exact same model used in the Halberd scenes in “Super star ultra”
@@finn_4761 no, this has updated textures, the brawl/smash 4 designs was used in the super star ultra halberd scenes
Meta Knight lmao literally a week after I posted this I found out I got it the other way around, anyways

Close enough, I used tiny invisible Mewtwo! XD

Just a question but how many people would be able travel on the Halberd if it were an option?
@@Flawz_Drawz Perhaps a thousand people
@@Flawz_Drawz Oh god, my stupid ass read that as "how many people died on the Halberd".
Damn Meta Knight. You must be proud of the Halberd. How long did it take to build her?

Its really great without music so thus we can here the Groans of Halberds greatest roar plus we are really thankful for this ^w^ 👍
2:29 just became my wallpaper.
Very cool! This would fit so good as a 3D ride.
I could just imagine whenever the Halberd rockets by, a gust of wind would hit the riders right in the face as it zooms by.

Pika Bryant
Sadly its in Orlando though but i heard somewhere they might get a Nintendo Land in Cali aswell
The Halberd has become my most favorite stage in the game just due to the background alone. More stages need settings like this
I just noticed, they put a CIWS Point Defense Phalanx to the right of the bridge. That's pretty cool.
Weird since Halberd is based mainly on WW2 era battleships
@@metaknight115 Well, if I could bolt modern weapons to the USS Wisconsin, I darn sure would.

Fun fact: the bridge on the halberd was inspired by the bridge from the battleship Yamato.

You know theoretically the claw can hook onto something to do a sharper turn that it is usually physically possible
I'm not sure the claw could carry the weight of my ship.
It was able to hold onto the Great Fox in Subspace Emissary
