Considering half of RoMK takes place in or on the Halberd and that there being like 2 or 3 entire stages set within it in Squeak Squad, the thing would have to be massive. However, from the outside, comparing the combo cannon to Kirby, the Halberd appears to be much smaller.

I'll provide a more legitimate tactical analysis on how Kirby sunk the Halberd. First off, all Kirby's attempts to take down the Halberd externally failed. It was too well armed and was too massive. He had to destroy it from the inside. After using Dyna Blade's tough body so he could shrug off most of the ordinance being fired on him so he could board the warship. (To remind everyone, Dyna Blade was still shot down and injured during the fight. Kirby was real lucky there.) Next, Kirby and friends had to take out the biggest targets aboard the ship. First being the combo cannon. (As it was the thing that shot him down every time.) Then the right wing of the ship due to the destruction of the heavy lobster. Afterwards the ship's core which blew a hole in the ship's belly causing the Halberd to start falling from the sky and may have caused the bridge itself to explode. All that pretty took the Halberd out of commission. Also we must consider due to Kirby's power, all opposing crew simply could not take Kirby down. So with dwindling numbers, the Halberd's crew had to stop Kirby, continue to man the ship, keep the ship floating, and try to stop further destruction. A very difficult task. And they couldn't fire on Kirby anymore because Kirby was so close in proximity to the Halberd. Going in and out to each new section. Giving the Halberd's crew no time and no clear shot to hit Kirby. Along with the ship and its crew being attacked left and right.

Two Zero invasions later, Meta Knight discovers the Mirror World has been invaded and enters it to protect Dream Land. It was a hard-fought victory - Kirby was cut into four copies, and Meta Knight was defeated. In his defeat he realizes he needs firepower to back up Kirby's raw strength: he starts a project to raise the Halberd from the ocean floor, and improves it so it is capable of space flight. Meta Knight misses out on Drawcia's invasion due to his tireless work on raising the Halberd, which finishes during the attack of the Squeaks. He learns the Squeaks stole the container holding Dark Nebula, and takes it back to the Halberd for protection. Kirby, misinterpreting Meta Knight's intentions, defeats him, and later defeats Dark Nebula, to Meta Knight's relief. After the humiliation of being brainwashed by Yin-Yarn, Meta Knight decides to take a different approach: team up with Kirby altogether. They, along with King Dedede and Bandana Waddle Dee, defeat the Master Crown-possessed Magolor. Having observed Kirby's power against cosmic horrors first-hand, Meta Knight feels confident in Kirby's strength and retreats for the duration of Triple Deluxe and Rainbow Curse, further improving the Halberd. When Haltmann invades planet Popstar, the newly improved Halberd is quickly shot down, and Meta Knight is captured and forced to fight Kirby. After being freed he quickly repairs the Halberd and sends it in to support Kirby, who uses it to destroy Star Dream. Later he is corrupted by a Jamba Heart and freed by Kirby once more, after which he joins Kirby in his fight against Void. With the amount of times his mind has been taken over, he decides to train and strengthen his psyche. A portal appears across the skies of Popstar and Meta Knight along with the Kirby cast get sucked into the Forgotten Land. Fecto Forgo attempts to brainwash Meta Knight, but Meta Knight straight up tanks it, and trains Kirby in the arena for his final fight. After returning to Popstar, Meta Knight prepares for the next big encounter...

For five of them, they’ve had experience fighting on a battle ship. Kirby was blown away and shot by this thing twice. Sonic has been on the Egg Carrier and traveled the army of ships of the Egg Fleet and the Final Fortress. Mario had to platform through Bowsers arsenal of air ships. Fox had to stand on the wing of Wolfs ship to defeat an alien army. This is pretty normal for Samus.
@@phoodiegames Actually, little theory that I have, which mostly comes from Super Smash Bros Brawl's story mode "Subspace Emissary" is that it is possible the Halberd actually has sentience to some extent, cause unless you already know the story mode, if you look closely throughout the story, when the villains are commanding the Halberd, the ship makes unnatural groaning noises and a red sky follows the halberd wherever it flies, and later on when Meta Knight takes his ship back, the red skies vanish and the groaning noises stop for the rest of the game, little thing I noticed in Brawl and I guess the developers ported back the unnatural groaning and the red skies back in for Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
I had set this video as my screensaver, and my sister saw it. I had showed her Meta Knight before, but she didn't think he looked cool at all. But when she saw this, she asked me what it was. I told her it was Meta Knight's ship, and she was all like, "You never told me he had a spaceship! That's so cool!" Thank you so much for a kickass screensaver, and the video that convinced my sister that Meta Knight is cool.
Wouldn't it be cool if there was an easter egg for this level like being able to see the Meta-Knights somewhere through a window, and when no one is playing as Meta Knight you can see him too 👀 would probably only be something you can see if you use an emulator and a free moving camera like the ones people do with Super Mario Galaxy and that one hidden train toy

What a gorgeous and beautifully detailed battleship. I would joke about the number of weapons being a bit overkill if it weren't for the fact that this poor ship has been shot down NUMEROUS times, sometimes literally singlehandedly. I don't blame Meta Knight for wanting to be extra prepared lol.

I'm pretty sure no one is acknowledging that the top decks of the halberd make it look like a futuristic spaceship combined with an Iowa-class battleship.
It seems to be more based on Japanese battleships, specifically Yamato and Nagato.

It's meant to take inspiration from the Yamato class, not the Iowas. Same main 46cm gun turret and very similar bridge.
