  • Removing more trees with the Werk Brau grading rake at the parking lot job. I used the Werk Brau ripper to tear some trees out then the rake to move and stack them. I also remove all the cedar trees in this area because he plans to put some cows on it. I think one more day and I'll be finished up for the time being. There is plenty more work to come from here. Thanks for watching! #EliteEarthworks #Takeuchi #WerkBrau

Boy, that ripper made that look easy... think how long you’d have been digging with your regular bucket. Pairing the rake with it gives you a whole arsenal of attack tools for brush and trees.
I drove out there today to see how it was progressing. They’ve done a pretty good job of dinging up the parking lot where they are unloading ties and tracks. The petting barn is almost erected and, the neighbor has moved over half of the dirt pile... by the time you get back over you’ll have to check your GPS to make sure your in the right place! (Or, you could just look for the water tower... LOL.)
Maybe you can borrow a railroad track to level the lot when they are finished? Just get you a steam horn and Choo-Choo your way across it a couple of times. Voila’. Good as new!!!
PS: I have grass... the soil works!!!

As far as getting started word of mouth has always been how I got work. Facebook is a good way to advertise vs a website anymore cause it’s free. Couple questions about your 260. How do you like the 4 way function on your dozer blade. I’m considering adding a mini to my fleet, i currently have a Tak TL10V2 and a kobelco 170 excavator. I work in really hard clay and sometimes its so hard i cant do much grading with my TL10 bucket (i have a reslo edge) . I can grade really well with my 170 when i have the space but that’s not always the case. Most of the time i would use the mini for grading and cutting swales. I have been very pleased with my Tak, and im looking at 50/60 size machines. Kubota offers a 6 way blade on their 40 size machine so I may look at that also but in reality i can just add a tilt bucket. My Kobelco dealer is bringing me a 35 to demo with a 4 way blade so that should be interesting to see how much i can do with a small machine. I feel like a 35/40 might be to small but I’ll see how this demo goes. Tak dealer is willing to let me demo a 50 next week also but its not a 4 way blade. Thanks for any input

I wouldn't call this destroying the environment, more reshaping it. Humans aren't the only species which reshapes the environment either, with beavers and termites being 2 other obvious animal examples. Pine trees (usually) increase the acidity of the soil they grow in as a plant based example.
