I have a 60 inch rock rake on my 120 and it is used more than the digging bucket. I have a cleanup bucket same size and never use it. They are really good for clearing and removing rock for planting. Always good to see one in action.
I agree, I only use the cleanup bucket when I’m actually ditching or loading a dump truck. I love your UA-cam name, obi just does what he must. Definitely the best Jedi
That’s a nice setup. I have a stacking rake for my farm tractor loader made by Wallace attachments from down in your neck of the woods in Live Oak Fl. I’m just over the line in SE Ga from y’all. Those rakes do a great job in our ol sandy pineywoods. I use it more than any attachment that I have. I even have lifted logs to saw firewood to keep from bending down so much. The tractor does lack in power for large clearing jobs. I find myself in need of a large excavator or rental possibly, to clear about 30 acres of clear cut previously 60 year old timber and dig a couple larger ponds for drainage.
That's an advantage of working there it seems to be all sand. Good point about clearing with a thumb you always dig stuff out before grabbing it. I love adapting attachments to my skid steer I have made my own brush cutter and stump bucket.
@@floridabrushanddirt2482 I have actually been making all of my own attachments, I started with a 42" clean up bucket, and then made a 6" x48" trenching bucket that is amazing for electrical and plumbing lines. Just finishing up a root ripper and my thumb, next is the root rake (thinking 42" as well), I have the pattern drawn out but need to get some steel and the new consumables for my plasma cutter hope to have it done before the snow melts.
If you can dyi your own, consider the design of "Digga's" excavator root rake". Being able to work away from your machine is just as important as working towards the machine
Yes I will check that out. Cool thing about the rake in the video is it will lock on the machine backwards and act as a stacking rake. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment

Yes sir we really use the rake more than I ever imagined we would. Great for sorting piles with dirt in them or light clearing.
Rent you a big excavator for sure with 60 year old stumps and big ponds also.
There is also a Wallace in Valdosta that builds trailers I think it may be the same outfit

Definitely money saving for you with the dumpster charge..looks like it works great.
