My dad and I recently started fishing Sacandaga. We have our best luck catching walleye at around 30 feet of water, using bottom bouncers and double hook walleye rigs. Where on the lake do you usually have the best luck with small mouth?
@@DownstreamDownrange We haven't had any luck with trout or pike. That's what we are going for next. We actually bought a bunch of trout lures today and are going to try them out next week. So far we've caught mostly walleye, but I also caught a nice bullhead, perch, and a bass.
Reid Johnson that’s awesome! One night I was out in one of the sandy bays on the dam end and fished at night with bait off the bottom where stream comes into the lake and caught a 7lb bullhead. Was absolutely insane !!!
