I wish I found your videos before building HMS bounty with the open side. Which I am still trying to complete with very poor drawings. I am watching the speed you're rigging the mast and attachments, premium job.
@@davaoshipmodeller What a pleasant surprise to hear back from you. I kind of just throw comments back to people like yourself without ever expecting to hear back. Kind of like cosmic karma. Question for you. You have documented very well the make and manufacturer of all the paints you have use on the HMS Bounty. However, you say you use a varnish (for the sides, deck, and elsewhere), for the model but (to the best of my knowledge), never say which one. For some reason, I think I need to purchase "Liquitex Acrylic Matte Varnish" or a "Vallejo Matte Acrylic Varnish #26.518." What do you use, or recommend? Thank you.
@@jefflovejoy2997 if I would not reply to the Comments on my Videos the whole Meaning of this would fail. In general, if I spray larger Surfaces with Matt or Gloss Varnish I am using cheap Rattle Spray Cans from my local Hardware ( Acrylics ) , if there are smaller Parts I use all Kinds of Varnish from Tamiya, Mr.Color or other Brands and sometimes I use all Types of Varnish and different Brands mixed on one Model. Honestly I do not always remember what Varnish I've used for each Model or Part, sorry .
What a great video.....i hope that i can built one of that in near future....but i dont have any idea how to built one of that wooden ships...its far more difficult than plastic model ships to build....
