Is there any circumstance where although a person was not residing in India for more than 182 days in preceding financial year but can still be a resident on any day in current financial year?
Another doubt: Do we evaluate the purpose of stay in preceeding financial year or in current financial year? Because if we do it for preceeding FY, then in current FY, the status will be same for each day. But in study mat there are examples in which status in current FY is changing from one day to another. Please help. Thanks in advance
Wonderful video. Thank you so much Sir. It would be very helpful if you could kindly clarify this doubt. Individual having period of stay more than 182 days in previous financial year but going abroad in the current financial year just for three weeks to attend a workshop (conducted by the employer) as a part of the employment. whether this will make the person a resident outside India just for the fact that he goes outside India for a very short period in the current FY?
Really helpful sir ... I found it difficult to read in book but your video made my mind clear. Thank you very much
