I found the videography for the candlelight festival incredibly well done - almost mesmerizing! The sequence with the children's laughter (starting 6:34) was exceptional!
@@CurrentlyHannah I agree with notpopeye. Exceptionally beautiful shots. The entire video puts this area in a good light and I will include it as part of my next trip to Japan.
yay, thank you for making Aizuwakamatsu, I used to go visit there once a year when I was a little boy with my parents and my older sister for skiing at Bandai san/Urabandai and spend about a week there. Stayed at cozy hotel skiing everyday, eating good food. And then Fukushima earthquake happened. My gosh how time has passed.
Hi. I'm a student of the University of Aizu. Thank you for coming and introducing Aizu Wakamatsu. I was very suprized at this video because I love this city and your channel. Please come again!!! And you should go to PaPa' Caldo, an Italian restaurant use Aizu food.🤤😄
This is an amazing guide to Fukushima. I also just got a project from Fukushima City and Tohoku Prefecture Tourism Bureau and so I look at other talented content creators to get a sense of what they've recorded before embarking on making these official guides. You're amazing!
your fotage and video quality are so amazing Hannah i love whatching and i hope one day i could be making photos and videos as good as you. Im loving this quallity!!!!!
Aaah nice, a video from Hannah to break the boredom of quarantine. Also, if you happen to come across some british guy named Chris, tell him he's getting chonky! Love ya, be safe!
I'll say this time and time again but your video quality is unreal. At 217k subscribers you are GROSSLY underrated. I hope you have a boom and take off to the levels you deserve!
holy crap, your videos are becoming such an amazing source for unconventional travel ideas in Japan. I'll be living there next year hopefully, and I plan to use your videos as my tour guide whenever I have the chance to go outside of tokyo!
I used your videos to help me plan my own three week trip to Japan. It was amazing. But you've posted so any videos since then I need to go back and explore more haha
Watching videos like this makes me appreciate nature and being able to travel even more😪. I can’t wait for this virus situation to be over, stay safe everybody:) 8:47 That’s me trying to dip my sushi in soy sauce😂 Good job editing the video Jess!
Incredible videography again. you are really mastering your art. You capture the essence of Japan so well. I miss it sooooo much! Thank you for making these videos.
The scenes at 6:00 are so wonderful. What a vibe. This video had a great feel and a perfect relaxing/silly ratio. Stuck in the house in NY and this was a nice escape.
Japan's country side is so beautiful and peaceful hopefully I'll be able to visit there and i really wanna get into the onsen in winter while it's snowing must be really relaxing
Your videos are getting better and better each time you upload! The onsen shot was amazing, a perfect composition. I super jealous of your drone footage as well! Can't wait to get back to japan
As always a super well made video, beautiful scenery, descriptive commentary and relaxing music. You still provide one of the best youtube experiences.
This is my mom and grandma's home town 🥺I used to go here every summer and winter.. now much less. It is so nice seeing this place from a different perspective!
A couple of points, if I may. Firstly I really appreciate the effort you put into making this video. Secondly you have armed with the ideal 'Sales Point' to get my lovely lady interested in visiting Japan in Winter. The Fukushima area looks wonderful & one that will see me visiting as soon as we get the all clear on Covid.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful tour. It came up in my YT feed randomly today, 5/13/20. My wife and I were planning on coming out at the end of March to see the sakura in Tokyo but sadly had to cancel. Seeing the beautiful cuts of the lanterns and children outside made me tear up! It seems like we've lost so much since and I totally yearn to be able to travel and explore like you did on this trip. I was born in Japan (my mom is from Hokkaido) but grew up in the states so I have a big affinity for Japanese culture. I hope that we can get back over there and enjoy the hospitality and food again.
I absolutely love your Japan videos! I went a couple years ago and absolutely loved it, and every time I see your videos it takes me back there and makes my heart long to go back too
Wonderful videography as always Hannah and well edited Jess. The both of you should collaborate more often. Looking forward to seeing more videos from both of you.
Just like to say the production level of the videos are getting better and better. Thank you Hannah, you story tell very well. *or was it Jess’ style of edits??* either way it’s great, Gotta start teaching us =).
This video was pretty well edited, mix of some funny edits, good slowmo, and of course beautiful scenery of Japan. Oh also those night shots on sony cams are so siiiiiick. I think would love to see some drone shots whenever possible, it just brings out more of wherever you’re going.
I visited the city and surrounding region two years ago and it was so relaxing and beautiful. I took amazing hikes, the people were kind, and there was so much sauce katsu haha.
Hannah, thank you SO much for posting this. Japan is such a different experience to our home country. I ache to get back there. There's so much to experience and learn there, it'd take more than a lifetime to do so. A small slice of exposure is wonderful. The big ciites are interesting, but I'd love to see more of the countryside, esepcailly after seeing this!
Great video Hannah... I think we visited the castle in Aizu Wakamatsu just 1 day after you did... we saw them taking down the lights... it was cold there for sure! Brrrr.
Really love your videos hannah, the music. the pace. feels so informative and serene at the same time. There should be a word to describe this gentle and nice feeling...
Pena q o Hiro me bloqueou em todas as redes sociais. Nem posso comentar nada no canal dele. Uma pena, esse cara tem problemas não é à toa que ele se afastou de todos os amigos e conhecidos da época do início do canal dele.
Wow! Fukushima does look magical and so beautiful. I love how you zoom in and out in your b-roll. The lovely bokeh effect. The golden lights and the banks of white snow that follows a creek that weaves through a little village. Tis very pretty. I love the little hot air balloons made from rice paper which are suspended by long pieces of string. Inside a little candle with golden glow. Still despite its incredible beauty I fear the radioactive dust on the ground and which surrounds these places. No amount of white washing can ever really make these places safe.
I just enjoy your productions so much to these outstanding places that I will never get to. Your camera work is so outstanding and I like the editing too well done Jes. Please take care and stay safe see ya
woah! It's amazing that you are spreading the beauty of my town. Thank you, and welcome to Aizu. and this is exactly the way that I want to travel overseas. local trains, small towns.
Thank you for giving me happiness when I get home from work. It is a hard and scary place at the moment but you are keeping me grounded and sane. Keep safe, Hannah and thank you :) Good editing, Jess. Nice to see my other favourite Australian involved!
Yes! It should be the same way when I did Karate. We put our Gi Left over Right for living. Normally would be Right over Left to symbolize that the martial artist in war to "accept death". Since we were training, we didn't have to put it Right over Left. OMGosh!!!! I have to save this for later. I should have waited for the end of the video. Thank you Vegan! Will be trying the best I can. The knowledge and things to check out would be nice next year when I try to visit ^_^ Yes and Just Jess!!! That's amazing! Been a while since they could upload.
Yeah I would imagine that a lot of Japanese clothing follows a similar kind of dressing rule. I just always forget which one it is and it's a pretty big mistake if you do haha
