My favorite 4wd channel, I look forward to every release. Tyler is a natural with a great personality. The young bloke and Tylers old man add to the charm. Im an old bloke whos best 4wd days are behind me but Tylers filming and commentary make it as if you were there.
Epic video mate, they just keep getting better and better. I have 2 ideas for shirts: One that says "First gear low range" on the front and the other "Gonna have a swim" on the front and on the back "Feeling nice and refreshed" haha
What amazing landscapes and tracks! Thanks heaps for the effort you put into capturing so much of it man 👍 Now I want to drive those tracks sooner than later 😁
What a great adventure. Looks awesome. Your chanell is getting better and better. With your style of filming and honest commentry you will just gain more fans. Keep it up mate. You deserve every sucsses.
Beautiful filming! Looks like a fantastic trip! FYI, you shouldn’t need alpine diesel unless it gets below about -10. If your fuel ever did freeze in the tank, I know they take a couple of embers from the fire and leave them under the tank for a while in Europe...
Another great vid mate, been to most of those spots not really to hard but the views are amazing. Keep up the great work mate I cant imagine how many river and hill walk through you did to get all the great shots.
Great viewing Tyler well done! Devils Hollow great spot to camp. Have done almost all those places you visited & gotta say it was a joy to re-live the memories of trips past thru your video. Fantastic! Happy Birthday to 'Mr. T.'
Great vid again Tyler. Sad to see see all those dead snow gums through out the high country. I can remember the bush up there when they were covered in leaves. It wasn't too long ago.
Good on ya Tyler great vid. Heaps of good info about the High Country tracks. Makes planning a trip down there much easier the way you talk us through the tracks and how to connect them up. Keep em coming mate🤙🏾
Blue Rag easy to trig point, hard to and fro the river end, a quite difficult track. I did it a week ago and camped end of Blue Rag Range track at the end on the river camp spot.
Great content mate ,watched it twice as gonna do The blue rag next , just back from The Deddik track and Mckillops Bridge, was epic ! Been catching all your vids , its refreshing no bullshit approach that people love ! And what an experience for your son to have , he will look back on these memories of him and his dad ! I ask can you put a price on that ?. I am Scottish here in Oz 9 years so I get so much inspiration from your videos, thank you for all you put out there ! Carpe Diem !
Another great video Tyler. I have been through the high country recently but missed many of these places. So next year will plan on catching up. Cheers mate.
Epic as always. The things you have to do for footage on those hills makes you re think sometimes .... haha. I took the fam to blue rag as we stayed in Bright last week. Perfect down the bottom. We could not see a thing on Blue Rag, just an excuse to go back haha. Cant wait for the next instalment. Mt Wellington and Licola one of my fave places.
the MU-X has a really good hill descent option using the ABS independently onto each wheel. not a one brake pressure suits all. as the foot pedal will do.
Hey Tyler! Loving the series. I started watching ur channel to research for a trip up BlueRag and Billy Goats a year and a half ago. Your videos were so helpful the way you get the info out. And yeah I got slammed on Blue Rag by that storm. Keep up the great work and can’t wait till next episode. Cheers
Best 4x4 channel on YT by far as no bullshit oversized cowboy hats worn,no try hard bushman antics or lingo and no constant flogging of sponsored gear. Wish you all the success and don't change a thing with your videos TT.
Another enjoyable vid, thanks Tyler. Interestingly I live in Victoria and go to the snow every year (the last ten years). My car is up there in the snow for about 4 days, I do the alpine fuel but I've never heard of the hand brake trick. Never had an issue with the hand brake even when the car has 30cm of snow all over it
Mate enjoying this trip with you. thanks for sharing it . this filming job will keep ya fit hang in there LOL cheers from 2 west aussies in Saudi Arabia
Spec-bloody- tacular!! Getting better and better 👌👍 that would've been a fresh swim! I've been there in December in 30+ degrees and it was still freezing . . . But very refreshing 😜
Tyler the river crossing's after collingwood spur trk are the Wongungarra river witch Crooked river runs into they join the Wonnangatta before you reach Kingswell Bridge love that area i try and get up that way when i can have been for fifty years nice part of VIC looks like a good time had love your vid's keep up the good work looking forward to the next one .
Hey Tyler great video again mate..I highly recommend a duck down feather insulated jacket for all weather..great for changes in weather conditions..I'm from Tassie and it's like that most of the time..save heaps of space in clothes and a great product for your clothing range too
Hey man, awesome video can't wait for the next one tomorrow. Question 1:10 where about is this camp spot? Where did you fill up for fuel Did you end up going through my fuel? Trying to figure out if I need to bring a few jerry cans or if it gets that bad is town/servo somewhat close by.
Shame we didn't see how the built tough MUX coped on Billy Goats... I bent a steering arm on it a week ago with the track chewed out from the Christmas crowd... Junction Spur Track as an alternate is also a good drive to the pinnacles. Next time your near Licola hit Burgoyne (after the Macalister). Ungraded, it's a pants changer.
You must have taken a wrong turn as Talbotville is basically at the end of basalt knob track. Nice little drive along that bit of track though. Thanks for sharing
@@TylerThompson90 yep that's what I thought. I've still go to get to Mt. Wellington. How was the track getting there and did it have closure gate on it? Pretty sure it's not seasonally closed.
Tyler, another great effort. Something you mentioned in here that I hadn't thought of before, doing all that walking to set up and retrieve you camera, would be very hard if you were on a busy track. You would be interfering with other drivers etc. and that wouldn't be too good. But man !!! you sure do some walking !
Hi Tyler thank you for taking us on this trip. I too use HEMA maps on the iPad, and have pin pointed the tracks and points you mention. By doing this I should literally be able to follow in your tracks. I am interested in what your thoughts of the tracks marked “D” or “X” to how difficult they are? Since you use HEMA maps have you thought of adding a map download to your post. Thanks for the inspiration to get out there!
Great video Tyler. I let all the ads play through because I believe you deserve the extra $. One of the ads was over 7mins long haha. -edited: Paused your video, to go get flowers for the wife (mothers day). Started watching the video again, ads come up again and got the same ad again which is 7mins 30secs long.
Tyler, this video is awesome. Everything about it. Great work here. I hope people realize how difficult is to put all this together so well.
Thanks mate, really appreciate it!
My favorite 4wd channel, I look forward to every release. Tyler is a natural with a great personality. The young bloke and Tylers old man add to the charm. Im an old bloke whos best 4wd days are behind me but Tylers filming and commentary make it as if you were there.
Thank you!
I think it's great that your not trying to sell anything and everything all the time.
Amen to that.
Great effort setting up cameras on those slopes. The traffic up Billy Goats reminded me of Cape York a few years ago. We are never truly alone.
The young fella seems to enjoy the 4WD experience
well done young fella for contributing to ur fathers channel with ur photography. keep it up mate.
Cheers mate
Undoubtedly, the best adventure channel on UA-cam :)
Appreciate it mate!
Epic video mate, they just keep getting better and better. I have 2 ideas for shirts: One that says "First gear low range" on the front and the other "Gonna have a swim" on the front and on the back "Feeling nice and refreshed" haha
Thomas.
I don't know how he does that. We are talking about water that has just come off ice !
I definitely should 😁
@@TylerThompson90 I would honestly buy both

About as honest as a youtuber can get, nicely done mate !!
What amazing landscapes and tracks! Thanks heaps for the effort you put into capturing so much of it man 👍 Now I want to drive those tracks sooner than later 😁
How the fire on the opposite mountain to good hope spur track @15:45. Man we were lucky this year
There were signs on those tracks at the time saying controlled burning in the area so think they had that under control, hopefully anyway haha
Awesome mate. Beautiful place Vic High Country and your footage did justice to it. Love your work.
Awesome stuff mate 👍. There’s nothing like the majestic Victorian high country.
Sure is an amazing place!
Cracking episode. Can't wait for the next one.

Great video mate - you might not remember but we met you at the Blue Rag lookout while you were filming - can hear my boys voice in the background.
Yep I do, thanks mate!
It's impressive how well the ISUZU is keeping and a shame that we do not get it in Europe (we only get the pick up version).
Get idea at the start of the mini run down on both cars 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Great episode thanks Tyler it looks awesome. I felt your pain climbing that hill at the end, I've done similar checking trails.
Thanks mate, keeps me fit haha

Great Video. Thanks for mentioning the Ultimate Control I just bought one so good to hear some tips on how to use it. 👍
No problem 👍
Doing a river crossing with a perfectly good bridge right behind you is pretty awesome lol
Yep 😂
You must have taken a wrong turn as Talbotville is basically at the end of basalt knob track.
Nice little drive along that bit of track though.

When we got down the bottom we just went left straight away mate. Need to turn right and cross the river and you end up at Talbotville
