I always love that Belgian comic artists tend to use the "I'm BELGIAN not FRENCH!" as one of their joke. I bet Gosciny and Uderzo made at least one joke like that in their comic.

People go on in interviews about how such and such actor "becomes his role" during a performance, but in David Suchet's case, there legitimately is no other way to describe it. My man's portrayal of Poirot is more of a real person than my own portrayal of myself in reality. This series will never be forgotten.

This timeless masterpiece aired on Indian national Television during the early part of the 90s and i was truly privileged to watch it as part of my growing up years, Christopher Gunning's theme piece is surreal may he RIP and David Suchet as Poirot is absolute top drawer performance which i reckon is going to remain unmatched for ages to come. Those were the days, when some of the iconic and the very best of British TV shows were produced.

Glad to have had the honor of playing this little Belgian at my high school’s production of Orient Express. Truly a phenomenal character. Though I know my performance was not even comparable to Suchet’s, I could not thank him enough for showing me how to truly embody another person. What a phenomenal actor, character, and world.

People say Holmes is the detective but he is not because he does nout use the little grey cells.
Holmes is great detective, but with fantasy elements. Poirot on the other hand don't need Holmes ways and tricks, only his mind and deduction.
