Barbara & Karen talk fall trends and highlight the upcoming season's best-loved color trends in Virtual Styling #226. Rich, jewel-toned colors are making a significant impact this fall. Shades of deep burgundy, sapphire blue, topaz and smokey browns are being incorporated into everything from suits to accessories, as evidenced in tonight’s collections from Kozan and Porto.
Layering is another key trend for fall 2024, with designers exploring creative ways to layer different pieces. Sheer fabrics are an important element of this trend. Pay attention to the fabulous mesh pieces you’ll see tonight: cropped cardys, dramatic toppers and a gorgeous double layer mesh dress. This is a practical way to transition seasons: lightweight for August’s heat and layered for September’s cool evenings.
Ladylike suitings are another fashion trend for Fall. Kozan’s eggplant short zip jacket and matching skirt in crinkle taffeta is one of our favorites! Porto’s sophisticated men’s wear jacket and wide pant is another fantastic take on this season’s suiting trend. These pieces are so chic worn together and equally sharp as separates.
