Recorded in 1990.

Great! A synthesis of styles that I appreciate. Jazz/bebop, latin/salsa and oriental music. An amalgam. Just like jazz itself was in the beginning, a century ago.
Holy cow. What a session -- Gillespie, Jackson, Scofield and Puente alone could decimate an audience but this entire group together... oh man, forget it!!! Great video.

Hilton Ruiz-Piano; Jimmy McGriff-organ. I am late to the party but just in case anyone was curious, this is part containment of an album and full VHS performance called 'Rhythmstick'.

Oh this a treat ! Who's on soprano? Man Bob Berg, Phil Woods, Tito, Smitty Airto & Flora. Anthony shows his versatility but he can play anything and Juan Birks genius. Sco a favorite nice to see him in this context also.
