Ree Drummond’s Family Secretly Moved + Now We Know Why
Вставка
- Опубліковано 29 чер 2024
- Ree Drummond moved in December and we didn’t even know about it until now! With only their youngest son Todd now at home, the almost empty nesters decided it was time to downsize. So where are they now? Here’s a hint…it’s not far..and it’s not the style I expected.
"We loved raising our kids in the house, but it had foundation problems and had developed a few problems that were going to be pretty overwhelming to fix," she shared with People.com.
In the interview she shared that the home was actually the one Ladd grew up in and was nearly 50 years old. They didn't go far, building a smaller home on their property. The Pioneer Woman shares that they plan to turn it into a guest house at some point.
"When we build our main house, we're only doing one or two bedrooms, so it's not going to be a big mega house. But right now, we're happy in the guest house. And this may be our 'house, house' for the time being. It's very comfortable and again, simple. We had to be very selective about what we brought here."

I love Ree and her family I feel like I’ve watched her kids grow up in front of me. How great it will be for them when they have kids to go over their growing up and show their kids. I loved all the family gatherings it must be sad for lad having lost his mother and other family members. But still a wonderful record to look back on. Keep doing what you do best Ree be yourself. ❤️🇬🇧
I love Ree Drummond and her show. We even visited the set, her shops and restaurants. But I prefer the original show.
I am so GLAD 😊 that the film crew is coming back!!! I am thrilled, not I don't like seeing her with her kids, but the shows lost the professionalism. It was fun for the time, but I am thrilled to hear they are coming back!!! JOYFUL.
yeah stopped watching due to lost professionalism
I had to stop watching. Her personality did a 180 with her kids. I hated the cutesy cutesy way she filmed with them. No professionalism at all! I doubt it will ever be the same again.
If you want a cookie cutter boring show there are plenty of other people on the food network You can go watch. Her kids bring personality to the show
Thank God I’m not the only one that feels that way!! It isn’t one iota professional! Seems like she’s always trying too hard to be funny! She just lost the whole vibe of the Pioneer Woman!
@@rosegroshek1218 how dare you. They dont talk or have any reaction except for her son-in-law. Girls laying on the couch covered with blankets is no fun watching.
So glad the regular tv crew is coming back.
Nice meeting you here katie.where are you from
I went to Pawhuska a few years ago and visited the lodge where the show is filmed. Pawhuska is an hour away from Tulsa, in the middle of no where. I really enjoyed the trip, had lunch in The Drummond restaurant and store and saw the town.
The Drummond helped to make famous their town by building a B & B, a pizza shop, an ice cream shop, their restaurant, and who knows what else. The Drummond own a great deal of land there. It took a while to get their from NY, but it was worth.
I also went to Waco, Tx and saw the Magnolia store and restaurant, but didn’t like it as much as Pawhuska, OK.
Waco needs a lot of development.
She's not as popular in her home town as she likes to think.
Truly love Ree Drummond n Pioneer Woman show!🥰
How are you doing Brenda
Building a house on a huge property that already has a house and a lodge on it, deciding to make the new one a guest house, and then live in it while building your “real” house are rich people decisions for sure.
I love Ree and watching her family growing up
so fun to hear about their new changes! been following Ree for almost as long as my son has been alive. and he is 21 years old! Love this family!

GM, I really enjoyed watching Ree and the kids on the weekends her kids
Is so respectful and she always cook their favorite foods & the dog...
It's amazing how kids grow like I told

I love Ree D cause she keeps it
real and most of all dreams do
come True.
Welcome old crew! Love the kids but miss the old show. Congrats on the house move around. Love you guys!!
I absolutely love them working together as a family.
I do too! Much prefer the chefs and home cooks at home with family or friends in and out. I don’t like the professional stuffy shows.
Love the Drummonds!!!
I like this entire family. Yes, their mega rich and own thousands of acres of land, but they just seem very down to earth and real.
Agreed,love it Ree!🥂❤❤
I just hate when kids grow up. Wish we could keep them little and innocent forever!
She looks amazing 💖
Nice meeting you here Charlene.where are you from
Ohhh good for them❤❤❤
Good luck on your new home.
I like her family doing the filming it’s more down to earth and family . For those not so skilled cooks.
The way things looks now. The kids be back home. Sooner than you think.

I know! I’m sad to hear she’s getting professionals :( it felt more like watching a friend with her kids!
Ree is the best she is a real person and I love her family great cook and her husband is a great guy her cooking is amazing
I’m wondering if when the crew comes back, will the ranch segments begin again. I miss those shows.
Awesome great idea
When you have the money they do they can do whatever pleases them.
Red has a book about her life and how she met her husband and all, it was a great read and very romantic lol!
I do like ree and many of her recipes i like the dogs a lot.
I dont no why people have to jate n be so envious i love that you people are so nice n hard workers God Bless you both n family to I admire you all!❤❤❤😂
I'm glad they still plan on keeping the kids with the show even though the original crew is returning. Good luck with their new home.

Kids and her make it too silly
I love her videos and sweet family
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
The weather conditions age a house quickly. Not to mention the need to replace pipes, electrical and insulation. As someone who is trying to save a house built in the 70's I have spent 10000 dollars and have not even touched the electrical or insulation in issues. That it just lighting, adding fans, and flooring and paint. ( Not even flooring by replacement but carpets tear out and wood floors refinished) Would change to a newer place on my property if I could in a heartbeat.
Narration error: They have 3 basset hounds, not 2.
2🤭
I love her.
I loved it when the kids did the camera work. Much more down to earth, but they professional crew did a fairly good job too.
I agree. I feel like she was more natural and relaxed when she had the kid crew. Looking back in the regular crew- she was much stiffer - I liked it better with the kids filming- more interaction!
Why does Ree have to tell us she moved at all?? It's her life and her business and she doesn't have to clear it with us.
I'm glad the kids aren't going to film anymore Ree you will become more serious like before didint enjoy this you
Excellent 👌.
Kudos GF very nice,😊.
Your very talented and...
Patient 💥🤧🎊🌠.

I like that all you got to do is tear your stuff over to the other house and you don't have to hire a moving company and save yourself a lot of money how wonderful is that
They wouldn't miss the $$$.

More power to tem.but they were frothy rich before Rees success .they have plenty but that's great they seem genuine and down to earth her recipes are for regular people too
Don’t like the dogs are mostly outside and sleep in a barn. It gets cold there.
That’s why they have fur.
In their defense NEVER live in the house during renovations! We did, it was horrible!
Their 2 new homes are a great plan. And the old house, once fixed, may serve for another
purpose.
People have no idea what the term "renovation" means or entails. It can make or break a family. I have lived in my house through all the fixes over the years but it is just me and well aware of the mess it makes.

Hello Laurie 👋
Why didn't the Drummonds just move into the Lodge while they build their new house?
My name is Delvelyn Crandall and I would love to meet the pioneer woman Ree Drummond if she's still alive.
How can you leave those bassets outside with those?? Lol. I have 3!
I can't wait for the crew to come back. I stopped watching when the kids filmed it. It was not professional at all and I couldn't get into it.
Well the good news is that if you love boring cookie cutter shows, there are plenty of other ones to watch. Her kids bring personality to the show
@@rosegroshek1218 So when the crew comes back and this will be another "boring cookie cutter show", you won't be watching it then?
I agree. I look forward to new shows with the professional crew.

What golden labs??
I am sure that this family is well meaning, but I have never cared for the show or the food or the Walmart products. This is just me and my taste. I wish you all very happy lives and an abundance of success. Your family seems very sincere and hardworking. Best of luck Drummond family you have many fans who will follow you throughout the years.

Not fond of her recipes at all
Still not far enough!
she works hard but has a charmed life imo spoiled
What's with so much negativity? One can voice their preferences without being so accusatory. It is their life and their show. And in the midst of a global pandemic. What went on in all your homes during the height of the pandemic? Did your households run like clockwork? Find the positive in the negative!
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion just like you are. When you put yourself out in the public eye, you are agreeing to take the positive with the so called "negative". Have a nice day.
Why do you take criticism of the Drummonds so personally, Naomie? It's just so...odd...
WTF folks? A major operation like Taste of Country has a DONATION button???
The cost of running/maintaining the site is a deductible business expense, so...
Maybe time to get a new accounting team.
My favorite about this show every person picked a food 🥘 they want 2 eat . Everyone .
Nice meeting you here linda.where are you from
Now doesn't she have a separate kitchen several miles down the road? She has a studio kitchen that is not part of her house. At least that's what she showed for years on TV.
I THOUGHT OKLAHOMA WAS A HUGE TORNADO MAGNET
Do the Drummonds own Taste of the Country
I love the show with the kids filming.. More realistic.. This common folk from Texas likes it just fine ..
How are you doing beautiful sharon
You are right sharon.how are you doing
What's with all the criticism!!! What makes people so nasty!! Red is wonderful. Her show is great. Why not have your own show and see what comments will be made about you. Lots of jealousy I see here.
Love Lee but those look like indoor dogs to me. What do others think ?
It looks like the dogs are very unhappy to me. They were always inside, part of the family. I feel bad for them.
All my five dogs are inside dogs and three of them are coonhounds, known for hunting. They make the best couch potatoes.
Lol no dogs love being free to come and go it was a video of them barking outside . Some care more for a dog than for babies lol

The other channel has her passing
The pandemic version of the show is TOO casual. Ree does a lot of directing to Paige and it drives me nuts because it detracts from the pacing. Bring back the pros.
I've stopped watching. Having the kids in there filming is disjointed.
I love the pandemic version! Different strokes for different folks remains true.
I love the casual atmosphere ahead has brought by continuing the show thru the pandemic. The recipes are somewhat easier as well. Everything else was on reruns and she was maintaining. Great Job!
Agreed 💯
I love the natural family version. The family is so sweet.
Thank goodness on bringing back the pros. I am not watching to see her kids and the show is disjointed.

Is Ree Drummond alive.
Why do the dogs have to stay outside? Or did I misunderstand?

So many flaws in this story It should be embarrassing for the poster. Just click bait.
Why do they have dogs, if they don't allow them in the house? They shouldn't have pets then.
I don’t trust People who don’t want to be around their dogs
None of the episodes of Pioneer Woman even mention the Osage or show an Osage recipe.
The Drummond Money is stolen from the Osage people and is blood Money.
When you are subsidized by the government to home wild horses you can afford all these homes; "heck, this one is rotting, we'll build another"! If you think they got rich on her show , you are crazy!
They worked their asses off ! What they have and want for the future they earned every right to do whatever they want.
@@luthiersdaughter9134 Best to ignore class envy. It's a dead end.
Bingo, Patsy.
Must be terrible to have to move out of a house that would be “overwhelming to fix” and just build 2 more? Seriously? Must be terrible to have to deal with such terrible things. 🙄
Hard work pays off
isnt it wonderful to live in a country where hard work pays off, dreams can come true--she wasnt handed anything she worked for it all and so does he - he works hard-good for them, im happy for them

a "wool" barn? Whole. Pronounced hole. A whole barn.
50 years old? That isn't even remotely close to being old for a home. Something doesn't add up. weird 'story'
That's not old for a WELL-BUILT home.
This is in Oklahoma
Things are different and that is old for a home there
The extreme weather can do lots to a house 🏠 over the years
Ok here's the troll
I think it depends on how it’s built. My home is 120 years old, does have the odd crack appearing , but was built in a very solid old- fashioned way.
@@sabinekoch3448 Your house must be beautiful! I love those 100+ year-old homes.
They could always adopt another small kid. Lol
Why would anyone care where these people live?
The 400,000+ acres of Osage land gives them more space than a nation. Not her fault, but they are benefactors of the ancestral maneuvers. Sad.
That is so sad that they banish the dogs from their home
I am not fond of the kids doing the filming. It's too cutesy.
Outdoor dogs? Oh, I hope they don’t forget to sleep outside with them!
