Wil Dasovich mentioned in one of his vlogs, that Nico is one of his mentors when it comes to both life and business. This goes to show that behind Nico’s funny persona, he’s actually incredibly skilled at running his own business and managing his life.
They're both children of wealthy families. One being from a small-family beef producing magnate over in Argentina, and Erwan's father is the head of Supply Oilfield Services, Inc. These are not the type of people you should be getting business advice from. You're better option is look at people like Manny Villar, the owner of Vista Land & Lifescapes...who came from a poor upbringing...In 1975, with an initial capital of ₱10,000, Villar purchased two reconditioned trucks and started a business delivering sand and gravel for construction companies in Las Piñas....This eventually segued into building houses, as Villar took out a seven-year loan from a rural bank offering low interest rates. He initiated mass housing projects through economies of scale, utilizing the cost advantages of developing a large-scale project in order to bring down housing prices. Now compare that with everything this video talked about, and all you hear is talking points of, "trust yourself, trust the process" bullshit. We're Filipinos guys, we don't have the same leverage like these folks so look towards people who have made it out already and pattern your success after them.
I love that the dishes on the menu is not a fusion but an authentic representation of what they really are and should be. An argentinian beef is a steak grilled to perfection and seasoned well by an Argentinian fire master. The salad looked amazing looks like a ceasar, and the pastas of course is Italian and of course the coffee is pure Filipino. Identity and purity. Hope to visit soon. Congratulations!
It's a long video but definitely worth your time to watch this. The passion that everybody has to build the rest from scratch, magnifique. I hope I get to visit and dine in this rest someday.
since my amputation i hardly ever go out anymore. But going to Chingolo is now my first priority and first reason to step out . Id love to go there. And my first order will definitely be PICANHA!!!
I've been watching Erwan's blog since early days. While some people would shout "asawa ni Anne Curtis" now, I can say, it's a marriage of equals, am a fan of the family. I love and appreciate the creativity in gastronomy, travel, culture, way of life and taste. I love thats its not all mainstream, just quiet elegance❤. You can tell with this episode, humility that life lessons bring at the same time the skill set na develop. Humbling experience brings out honesty and thereby authenticity. Keep it up!!! love your vlogs!!! ❤
Wow! What an amazing journey! From zero to 100, it’s been a tremendous success for both of you. Congratulations and best wishes, everyone! What a fantastic achievement!
I’m a crew member for a major US airline and I can vouch for the beef being best in Argentina. But South Korea also has great cuts of beef! Can’t wait to continue watching this episode.
49:28 I love how Nico explained the rule and yes! We received that treatment. Thank you to your staff and wonderful cooks for an amazing dinner. We will definitely go back.
I watch Sir Erwan's vlog, he's so down to earth, humble. He's good in things he does. Sna affordable para ma try din ng ordinaryo tao. Or set a day in a month or week na may discount. Me & my kids love steak.
i finished watching the whole video considering its almost an hour long video. It opened my eyes really gave me the back end scenes of doing business, opening a restaurant. Informative, and personal. Love the story about Nico's father. For me, its a great reference for those aspiring restaurant owners! Great respect to the whole team! I hope someday i can dine here. :)
Sad truth about businesses owned by well-known people/tv personalities is that people actually know little about the hardships these businesses go through in order to flourish. Not to mention the negativity from online critiques who actually know nothing about business and how fast it could all go down in flames. Erwan, Nico, and their amazing team are making the impossible POSSIBLE. I never really cared so much for a youtube video/docu so as to make a long comment about it but I really enjoyed this one. You guys deserve all the good things and the ones that are yet to surely come! Kudos!
The journey is just as important as the destination. I’m a food vlogger here in Davao and I’m excited to extend my food adventures to Cebu and Manila. CHINGOLO will definitely be my first stop when I visit my Dad in BF. :)
Been a fan of Bolzico beef for years! Even if im working abroad, I just order and send it to my family as we are all steak lovers 🤗 You guys are amazing, and the beef, what can I say? Superb and nothing more!
I was so happy that you guys opened in Molito. Been wanting to try the beef for the longest time being an avid watcher of Erwan's videos and talking about food especially the beef and empanadas. Also had the pleasure of meeting Nico when we ate there. He was such a nice guy, and he talked about his vision about the restaurant. Wishing you more success guys.
Congratulations with your new restaurant!! Was in Alabang few times last month but just passing by not tried any restaurants yet. Next time I’ll visit your place.
Definitely visiting this place when I visit Philippines again! Can’t wait. I can come by here just solely to hear Francisco singing. The well grilled tasty beef 🥩 is just a bonus! What an addition to the Philippine gastronomy and with Erwin’s impeccable taste and culinary skills plus Nico’s detailed to the tee management and organisational skills and without discounting the superb business skills and can do attitude of Siggy and Katrina, I am sure this restaurant will be a force to reckon with in the Philippine culinary arena. Well done guys! Wishing you reach new heights and all people get to know your business! Can’t wait to visit the place! Yum 😋
Nico's outfit is very Southie lifestyle look. The shorts and slippers are basically the uniform for anyone who lives in the South (Alabang-Parañaque-Las Piñas). I think he's a local already! Wherever we go, from the mall to parks and family functions, shorts and slippers all the way lol
I love this so much!! May Chingolo & Bolzico Beef live on ❤ Wishing you both so much success on this endeavor! Will be visiting for sure; funny, humble and both very knowledgeable guys, so glad you guys are in this space ☺ Love & well wishes from the Texas state! 🤘
I watched from start to finish.. amazing work you had there.. wish to visit it with my family someday.. I always enjoyed listening and watching you speak @erwan...Good job everyone...
This was such a great peeked into Erwan and the rest on how they built this business. Everyone contributing a piece of themselves into it. I'm a huge steak fan and would love to try this someday.
Wow. First, I want to try your restaurant and those Bolzico beef Second, lots of business/personal lessons from start to finish (lots of hidden gem lessons also for me). Learned a lot on this video. May God bless you, your family, your team, and your business.
I watched the whole video, and Erwan was very humble. Humble enough to admit what went wrong in his business ventures, ultimately he learned from those failures. I always liked Erwan's vlog, he's championing Filipino culture and traditions. He supports Filipino farmers as well. I subscribed to him first before subscribing to Anne Curtis, I've always known him as Erwan Heusaff not "asawa ni Anne". Oh ! by the way I've always loved Nico Bolsico's funny bones :)
Its like watching a feature of a company, how they are built and yet on each part is soooo funny and just enjoyable and engaging to watch but soo much to learn about planning, building, problem-solving, team relations, and learned experiences. 😊😍🤪
This video has taught me a lot, and it's worth watching even if it's about an hour long. Thank you for sharing this inspirational story. I hope to open my own restaurant eventually.
Nico and Erwan and tge rest of the Team congratulations….I’ll post this on my IG & FB because Nico, was my Client before during his days with AFA& ASAP,Madrid, Spain. Certainly see you…. Good luck🍾🥂👏 Madrina
This was so inspiring... 🙏♥️ Worth it buong video panuorin. Ang saya panuorin yung buong process, parang mas naaappreciate ko tuloy lalo mga negosyante. Guts talaga
I just have to say.. for those people that haven't gone through the stage of trying to find themselves and exploring, that's probably what Erwan was going through at the early stages of his career.. just be nice to people, you never know what's going on in their lives. Sometimes, you have to cut people a bit of slack. #JustSaying 😊
I think I’ve seen Nico in Molito wearing the exact same short and shirt with Tili. 😊 I didn’t know they had a restaurant na pala, missed it cause we park on the other side. Hehe next time!
hi we just eat here now n its so delicious ,and affordable ang price akala ko pangmayaman lang sya nahihiya kmi pumasok pero napa accomodating ng mga tao
Next year I am visiting my fam in the PHILIPPINES. And I am sooo excited! I will definitely visit your restaurant, I hope I can see you there 😂😂😂 so that I can say Asawa ni Ahnne cortiz uy! Hahahaha!!
Never been to the restaurant yet but Chingolo beef available in the supermarkets is the best. Better than the Japanese beef which is on the same price point or sometimes more expensive
Right into home, congratulations for landing at the center for everyone who contributed to these. From your poultry to the vegan product and now. The medianiacs are busy along with the politicreators and we conceptualics are free by 18th
I just went there last week and man the steak was heavenly. The bill was indeed surprising in a good way!!! Please be consistent! I will be baaack!
What made you say that? Affordable? Worth it? Cheap?
I think his referring to the taste of the food.
I think he meant that the price is well worth it considering how the meat tastes.
The price is right. At sa Alabang pa.hehehehw
@@jshu-_- its a steak house never expect a cheap steak, you only need to judge if the steak quality is worth your money

Erwan and Nico looks like a really good mentor. I wish they publish a book someday about business and friendship

I was just in Buenos Aires the other day, and it is nice that there is now a place in the Philippines where you can experience Argentinian cuisine.
I was just in Buenos Aires, there’s nowhere in sight a Filipino cuisine.

Wow 10 restaurants... ok lang kung may extra capital, if not oh my so much headache.
