A great alternative is the Cotton Carrier system, in particular their 'Skout' V2 for lighter day trip hikes. Very comfortable with my XT2 with 16-105 XF zoom attached
Great video! Really like your channel, very easy to listen to, very good content, instruction. Very informative. Looking forward to more of your videos. 👍🏻
Hi Matthew, thanks for the informative review! I've got the f-stop Ajna backpack and I wonder whether the capture clip v3 is going to fit on it. I read on Amazon that the strap should not be wider than 5,5 cm, although stated diffently by Peak Design (6,4 cm I guess). I dont know, if the straps of the Guru UL are comparable to the Ajna, probably they're going to be narrower. But maybe you have any experience with the clip and the Ajna. Please let me know! I'd highly appreciate it ;-)
Hi Ari, thanks for the comment! I don’t have the Ajna to test it out, but the clip has a surprising ability to fit wide straps if you use the narrower hex screws that are included. The Wandrd Prvke has a very wide strap (although somewhat thin) and can still squeeze into the clip. If you can, I would pick it up from somewhere with free returns and try it out. Hope this helps!
All the pictures have it secured without a leash and I want to scream a little... nothing like being 2 days into a trip in the middle of nowhere and having a little whoopsie with your thousand or more dollar lens
Thank you, the info on the osprey sized straps was exactly what I wanted to know!
I'm so glad it was helpful!
same here
Nice review! Answered all my questions.

My camera + lens is way too heavy for it. Too uncomfortable to have it on my belt. Very unfortunate because it looks like a great product.
I am looking for something that fits on a belt around the waist. This seem useless for that
