    Really great video, I am a total rookie but not afraid to learn and try. so even showing the simplest things like loosening the bolts by the rad to wiggle the manifold out was very helpful- I didn’t figure that out the first time. Really great video on this! I had seen others that made it look like a much bigger job and I've been putting off doing it but this makes it look very achievable. Nice that you explained how it all works as well. Liked and subbed. If the CRV is your car, I'd like to see more vids on work you do on it. Question; If I go the same route and pick up a used diaphragm, how do you remove it from the body? There looks to be a finned circular piece of plastic holding it down - does that unscrew or pop out or what is the method? Thanks again!

    I have this same code on my 02 rsx I took out the intake manifold and cleaned the rudders and all but the code came back after clearing it, do you know what else I could try to clear the p1077 code?

      @@angelrodriguez2552 I got the same code on my 04' RSX. I'm going to inspect everything before purchasing the whole IMRC, I also read that its best to purchase it from the dealer because the aftermarket ones go out real quick. Oh and before I inspect the IMRC I'm going to look online where I can purchase the diaphragm alone.

    I have watched 3 different videos on this and my question still remains unanswered...What do you use to clean the gunk out of the IMRC and intake manifold???

    • @DFRxSTANCE
      @DFRxSTANCE  5 років тому +3

      its a composite intake manifold so don't use break cleaner! you can simply use degreaser or even dawn dish soap

    • @Starrderider09
      @Starrderider09 5 років тому

      @@DFRxSTANCE Well unfortunately it's a little too late for that. I was told to use brake cleaner by a mechanic buddy of mine but he probably didn't know that it was plastic. I used it on the IMCR and it sorta turned it brown. but after doing some tests after watching your video I came to realize that I have the same problem you had...the diaphram's not holding pressure. I can't find a diaphram anywhere and the only place I can find an IMRC is Ebay for $200
