I love CeraVe! I have combination skin and the cream is one of my favorite products of all time! I apply a small amount just enough to cover my face and it leaves my skin velvety soft. But I do agree it can be heavy because if I apply a little too much I’m left with a sticky face😢. I want to try the lotion too.

I bought both of these after watching this. I have been using lubriderm daily moisturizing lotion on my face, and it dries up so quickly and barely leaves any moisture behind. It also has started to burn around my nose. The cerave daily moisturizing lotion is replacing the lubriderm, and it is perfect. Feels so smooth, actually hydrates my skin, and isn't heavy at all, so when I add sunscreen over it, I don't feel like my face is covered in grease! The cream is perfect for my arms and legs because they are sooo dry. I was not expecting the texture to be so thick and buttery, but I love it! It feels luxurious and does a great job at hydrating and protecting. I use a lightweight sheer sunscreen on my oily face and sport sunscreen on my arms, chest, and neck. The moisture is perfectly balanced, and I feel refreshed and ready to face the sun. I've been trying to improve my skincare because I'm getting married in 5 months, and I want to be naturally beautiful for my groom. Trying to break my habit of picking my face, and I find the best way to do that is to wear makeup! Which means I'm also forced to wash my face daily, which I never do.
I suffered with acne for many years that affected my self esteem hugely. After trying different ointments prescribed by my doctor with no success. I realised I was consuming lots of milk. With cereal, in chocolate an I loved latte coffee’s. One day I decided to go dairy and egg free just to see what happened. Within one week I noticed a huge improvement I also use the sauna every day after a workout and swim at my local gym. I don’t have so much as a pimple these days. There are so many dairy free alternatives these days I can still enjoy porridge and coffee using oat milk and the odd bar of dairy free chocolate ( you really can’t tell the difference! )

I don't use moisturiser, never have. I'm in my late 50s and frequently get told I'm in my late 30s. Your skin naturally regulates itself, so don't put anything on it. Plus your skin breaths, so why stop this by slapping something on and blocking your pores?
I’ve been on tretanoin again for like 2 months now and I need a good moisturizer that I can wear under makeup that’s not going to make it slide off. Nothing ever seems to soak in or dry down for me expect for if I use my vanicream/la roche posay lipikar and then top it with hyaluronic acid after a few minutes. Is there anything you can recommend and is that a bad method? My face gets dry from the tretanoin so I’m still trying to find a balance of using it but also not getting to the dryness point of my face cracking off when I’m wearing makeup as well as once again not sliding off. The Cerave cream seems to be too thick but in reality it works beautifully even for oily skin as it's not heavy or greasy at all...
So for a combination skin with an oily t zone which one is better? Lotion or cream, i have bangs covering my forehead btw.

dairy products is a no no if with acne, before some derma debunked this, but after some studies, they agreed about, sweets - and milk.
