Thanks a lot! Indeed it was not easy especially the quality of the decal set was pretty poor and had to airbrush a lot of lines instead of using the decal. Go for it it will be fun! :)
Hello! Thanks! I used the carbon decal of FFSMC Productions. With this product you have to paint the surface with silver before you start to put the carbon decal on. For optimal fit you need decal softener as well. The decal itself is an A4 page so I cut it myself to smaller pieces. On more complicated parts i.e. the exhaust cover I cut smaller pieces from the carbon decal and put it together on the surface. TBD Models and Tamiya also have the carbon decal and it is easier to use cause you dont have to paint the surface to silver before.
Sry for delayed answer. YT put your comment into a possible spam folder. Unfortunately there is no 1/12 scale model like this Ducati from BMW s1000rr. If there will be in the future I'm sure I will make it and will upload.
Thanks. Well I bought the decals in a local shop in Budapest, Hungary. As far as I know at the moment two decal sets available. TB Decals, and Hobby Design. You can check if one of them available online. www.hobbydesign.com.cn or www.tbdecalsmodels.com or in any other scale model store.
Thanks! Yes I know but unfortunately 1/12 scale Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyre decals not available in any webshop so I made it like this. Looks much better than a tyre without any decals.
Hello! Sorry for delayed answer. I bought the decals for the bike in a local hungarian scale model shop but you can buy the decal set of Hobby Design HD04-0150 which is the similar set what I bought. Selling in several online shops and for sure on eBay as well. The tires I used Blue Stuff MOTO GP Tires & Wheels markings serial number 12-013 www.blue-stuff.com plus inside the rim the big letters from Planche Decals Michelin 1/24. If you search on eBay or on the web like this you can find it. Also I bought Zero Paints ZP-1022 Martini colors for painting.
Great job, exceptional painting and masking skills. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks very much!!!
Very nice work got the decals for this one myself in the stash thanks for sharing
Thanks a lot. This bike with this fairing is on of my favourite.
It's hard to masking Maniti Decal, but it's really cool. The painting is cool and amazing! I want to make a 1199 Martini version.

Super! How did you do the carbon fibre? I did Tricolore edition but the kit has no decals for carbon parts, and they are default with Tricolore.
