We've cruised Celebrity exclusively 19 times with 8 more booked over the next 2yrs. We our Elite Plus members Celebrity never gives me a reason to leave.
Went on the Infinity ship from Celebrity a couple of years ago. It was Alaska/Canada cruise. I've been on 3 Celebrity cruises, and u gave the same review I gave every single time. The food was great , and the service was amazing. The hospitality is next level. They pretty much treat u like a celebrity
Thank you Travis for a wonderful review on Celebrity Infinity. We booked for a 7 day Mediterranean Greek Isles Cruise in August 2023. I was kind of apprehensive/regret since she is an older ship. I am now relieved after watching your reviews with your likes and dislikes. We have the oceanview staterooms 4th Floor forward.
Sounds awesome! I hope you have a great trip. She’s older, but my Celebrity Infinity experience was one of my best cruises ever. Thank you for watching 😃
Yes. I got the premium, and it worked stellar. I was worried because on Enchantment of the Seas, the highest internet was NOT enough. I will say that internet on board ships has been less reliable now that ships are at full capacity, but I still say it’s worth it.
Can you upgrade your room as we are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and my husband booked this as a surprise but only could a state room 3000 I gether this not a great room and I suffer from closed in room I am dreading this part of our first cruise
The answer is that it depends. Usually, if there’s still a few months or more until you set sail, you can change and just pay any price difference. I’ve done that before (note that some cruise lines charge a change fee). Once you get closer to the sail date, it’s not always an option without putting in a bid to upgrade (which is subject to being accepted or rejected at the cruise line’s discretion). My advice is to call and ask. They will almost always do what they can to accommodate you, and the worst they can do is say no.
@@totallytania7978 unfortunately, traveling overall is more expensive. Hotels have gone up, flights have doubled, there are far less cruise deals. We’ll also be moving in a few months, so we gotta get all the ducks in a row for that. I have quite a backlog of cruise footage tho, so it shouldn’t effect content all that much. I’ll also be much closer to a cruise port!
So the 3 dislikes were the inclement weather,(don't believe Celebrity can control that). Port changes are normal if it is to dangerous to dock a cruise liner in certain ports. The cancellation of excursions would have been due to safety issues. The dated inside cabin (refurnished in Spring 2023), you booked late dining, (again out of Celebrities control). So apart from the dated cabin, everything was good?
Hey there Richard, thanks for watching! I don’t normally reply to comments that come off as negative, but considering that you do seem to have raised some legitimate concerns/questions, I feel inclined to respond to each one. First, this isn’t a ship review, it is a sailing recap linked to an entire vlog series, that is intended to address issues and occurrences associated with my 6-night cruise. Second, the weather, while certainly out of Celebrity’s control, played a huge factor in this because, outside of canceled excursions and all that, I had a connecting train get canceled, which forced me to book an expensive, last minute flight, I was worried I’d be stuck in Fort Lauderdale, or worse, stuck in the middle of the ocean. It also greatly affected people who were coming in from other parts of the world, to the point where many were having to rebook, replan, readjust, etc., instead of enjoying their vacation. That is the risk you take sailing during hurricane season, but that doesn’t make it any less noteworthy. Third, while Infinity did get a small refresh this year, the staterooms were not reappointed as expected. This ship has also not been Revolutionized like sister ship Summit, so you will still find outdated decor throughout the ship, including shower curtains in the staterooms, undersized TVs, underutilized spaces, etc. While this isn’t a dealbreaker per se, it does detract from the “premium” experience that is being advertised, so unless a great deal popped up, I would likely lean towards a more modernized ship. Fourth, me having late dining was partially Celebrity’s fault. I picked early dining when booking, but due to a system glitch (which the Celebrity system is known for), I was put in an “unassigned” category. That’s normally a placeholder status for when cruise consultants and travel advisors are putting together bookings for clients, and their preferred dining option is unknown, however, if that’s never changed to a specified category, the system defaults it to late dining, since that tends to have less guests assigned to it. I didn’t book through a TA or consultant, so I didn’t know I was to have late dining until I was on board, and while they would’ve almost certainly accommodated me for MyTime or at the earlier seating, I hit it off with my table mates the first night, and figured eating later with them was better than eating earlier, alone in a corner. Lastly, I will say that this sailing was far more positive than glitchy. I had a great time, and it really put Celebrity out in front as my favorite cruise line. There’s very little to worry about with a classic and comfortable ship like Infinity, so I reckon you will have a great time also.
@@Jbrew73 😒 that’s what I get for editing videos with almost no sleep. I literally watched it back after it posted and was like…”What have I done?!” Haha
@@TravelingWithTravis to be honest I did not catch it at my first viewing. I had to go back and look for it and I noticed it right away. No big deal though. I think we all watch for your cool adventures and fun personality, not spelling.
Oh hey. It didn’t seem overly aggressive to me, tone and intention don’t always translate through text. The main reason I didn’t like the later dining is because it conflicted with some of the evening activities I normally like to do. Food was great tho, and I had excellent table mates. All good, and thanks for watching.
@@TravelingWithTravis ah ok makes sense. I was actually just asking cuz im going on the cruise on the 20th this month, so its good to know. Thanks for the reply g 👍
Thanks for sharing your experience.

Yeah, for sure. I really enjoy Celebrity a lot!
Thanks for sharing!!! I will be selling on Infinity in May. I know they had planned to update the ship in 2022 but was postponed due to pandemic.
Yeah. There are some areas that are noticeably outdated, but she’s very well maintained. Also, THE FOOD is the best I’ve had in 20 cruises.

Where did the cruise take place? In Barcelona?
Great video , where did you go, just looking a booking
Aw 😊 thanks! This was a 6-night cruise that went to Bimini, Belize, and Cozumel.
Did you get an internet package on the Infinity? If so, how was the speed?

18th cruise, already?😳Wow!☺️
Yeah. It works out to about 1 cruise a month, since I started cruising. Things are about to slow down tho, sadly.

This video has a pretty significant misspelling…can you find it?
"Inclimate" should be "Inclement"

Can recommend!
Bro how tf is 8 at night late for you?? Asians typically have their dinner around 8-9 ish
Why does it matter to you? Also, why do you have to be so aggressive about it?
I said it thinking it was in a humourous way. Turns out it sounded quite aggressive on second thought. Sorry about that boss 🫡
