  • FREE Arri Alexa Footage and step by step Split Toning Lesson with Denser Colours
Free footage can be hard to find and expensive camera footage can be almost impossible. In this video we use the free footage that you can download from my website to create a fantastic look with maximum Colour Separation in Davinci Resolve.
I'll teach you how to do split toning and the best way to get natural looking skin tones. For me, it's not about using colour warper or a qualifier to fix those split tones. It's about setting a good balance in to correct your skin tones that will help your look further down the line.
You can go to my colour grading website and download free 4k footage here: www.hadefilms.com/

Good job of spanning DaVinci tools and DCTL tools, which will, we think, come into their own more fully in the near future. AND glad to have the download option which allows us follow exactly on our own systems. So often one tries to replicate a grade with our own image but differences (often not obvious) make the exercise frustrating. Thanks!

Yeah, the filmmaker did that to emphasise the emotion of the child soldier. It's a great film.
