Jacqueline Kennedy, wearing dark sweater, Mrs. Jean Stephen Smith and Mrs. Patricia Lawford, beside the yacht Christina on Scorpios island, Greece. With them are Mrs. Kennedy's son, John and her daughter, Caroline. Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Lawford are sisters of Mrs. Kennedy's slain husband, President John F. Kennedy. Onassis heavily favored his son and was reluctant to pass on the business to Christina who had emotional issues. In the end ,his hesitancy was justified.

I think Jacqueline Kennedy could have very easily married a prince or duke but she wouldn't have wanted the social engagements attached to such men. In Onassis she could pretty well go her own way with all the status and money attached. As there could not have been any physical attraction. I often wonder what Caroline and John really thought of him.

John was noted as saying that he regarded Ari as "a joke", while Caroline told a relative at the funeral of Joe Kennedy, Sr. (her grandfather) that she "didn't like him".
When she was on cruise on Cristina after she lost INFANT PATRICK she told Ari she didnt like living in white house n didnt enjoy her duties as First lady.
John and Caroline were happy he made their mum 26/million richer!
That massive payout in 1976 made life very easy for Jacqueline, Caroline and John!
Caroline and John later got a 37.5 Million Dollar Payout from the sale of the Merchandise Mart in 1998 ( their grandad/ Joe Kennedy owned it before he died)!
All the grandkids of Joe Kennedy got a sizeable payout once the Merchandise Mart sold to a Trust Corporation!

Jackie was too skinny there
She looked gorgeous as far as her weight was concerned. Thinner people always look better in their clothes.She was always a thin lady.
I think she starved herself for years to look good on camera! I have no idea how she stayed so small after having two children! She had to be on a special diet!
The fame from two big marriages would not be handled well by most persons! Jacqueline put up with the inconveniences for the wealth from the marriages!
It may have been due to PTSD from the assassination. Supposedly she suffered from insomnia afterwards and suffered emotionally for many years because of it
Jacqueline was very clever! She consulted with top psychiatrists for years to help her deal with stress!
She was a survivor! She handled her husband and brother-in-law being assassinated by strangers!
Jacqueline used all avenues to survive! Her strength and will to help her children, must be seen as admirable qualities ( even if you are not a fan of the golddigger traits)!
Everybody has there problems rich or poor or average income.
