- Lake Livingston state park is one of the most popular state parks in Texas for a reason!! The park is situated on beautiful Lake Livingston which spans 83,000 thousand acres and is surrounded by the piney woods of deep East Texas!
The park has wonderful RV sites, screened shelters, clean bathroom facilities, excellent hiking trails, watercraft rentals, a fishing pier, and a swim beach!

Great park. We've been there several times. Remember there are gators here so always be aware of that before swimming...

I move to Baytown from MS two months ago and my co worker took me here. I been to other state parks in Texas but this one is my favorite of them all. Best Lake State Park I ever been to.

Looks like an amazing site. Seems a lot of state parks don't have the sewer hookup but I am good with that for the sites you tend to get at them. Great review on the park. Looks like a place I would stay for sure. Love the sites. Plus it's so big you can always find new things to see. Wow this place really does have it all. Dig that lookout deck. What a nice view.
This is a very popular state park in that area of Texas and I see why now! It's a very charming state park! We hope to make it up to your neck of the woods in Tennessee again some day! We really enjoyed Fall Creek Falls State Park!

Great job with the video. Having done a few park videos (I have a couple finished on my channel), I can tell you put a lot of time into making and then post producing this video. Wow! Good stuff!! I am curious if you got permission to do the drone footage. I haven’t tried to even ask and am curious if they accommodated you. Regarding LLSP, I was there recently as well and wholeheartedly agree with this being a great park to visit, especially because of the beautiful renovations. In fact, I was so impressed with our most recent visit, I was planning to move my video of LLSP ahead of some other planned videos. Neat to see your perspective and very thorough job.

Thanks for the tour. LLSP has been on my bucket list for awhile. Hanging on for those sites by the water with full hookups. See any alligators? That is my one concern for there.
We've been trying to get one of those sites on the Piney Shores for several years now and haven't had any luck yet (for various reasons), but we were very pleased with the sites that we WERE able to book! We didn't see any alligators but we weren't there for very long. I'm not sure if they have alligators there. Normally they would post warning signs about alligators like I've seen at other state parks but I don't recall seeing any.

Yes! There is no shortage of places to put a conoe in the water at the park. There is a boat ramp and other areas around the pool that you can launch from. Thanks for watching!!
