    Very pretty combination. I envy your long nail beds. I have short ones and need to grow my nails for them not to look stubby.

    Kelly, I have always thought you have the most beautiful hands. I am not a person who pays much attention to my nails, but, you could be a model for hands, they are that beautiful.

    I appreciate you sharing this with us. The pandemic put an end to having gel nails done which truthfully was a convenient excuse for me. The nail tech was a very nice lady but I think she needed glasses and was too vain to wear them. There wasn’t a problem in the beginning but vision changes for most of us as we age. I started doing my nails at home, using a product that many paper crafters were using. Their product line is fine but two things bothered me. Their products that were not nail polish in bottles were packaged in a pastel color with small, white font for the instructions. I would have had trouble reading that at 40, at 70….yikes! Also, their top coat was in a colored bottle so you could not tell at a glance when you were getting low. Minor issue, but it bugged me. The next product line was more expensive and was just “okay” for me. I like your disclaimers. I bet many of us file our nails the same way unless we have reason not to do that. I’ve ordered a few tools, and after I check my inventory, I will try one of the Zoya polishes.

      I've found the biggest things are the base coat and the top coat. The actual nail polish doesn't matter as much if you have those two.

    Thank you for sharing. I have La ways loved your nails. They are beautiful. I do not have nice nails. My fingers are stubbier and my nails are weak. They have peeled and broken forever. I am just a clear or light polish girl for part of the year and au natural the rest of the time to give them a break. And i keep them Gina K short. I use oil on them daily to try to keep them moisturized. They are what they are. Plus….i hate spending time on them. Like vacuuming….you just have to do it over and over. 😝. I love seeing all the fancy designs but they will not be on my hands. Now die cuts….fussy is my game sith them. Lol

    I just bought some nail stamping tools in December and have been too scared to try them! I would love to see how you stamp. Thank you for showing us how you do your nails and giving us the 10% off code. I'm off to buy some things I didn't get in December!

    Another great fun video! Beautiful nails Kelly. Nail stamping would be interesting to see. I just received a Maniology kit and some other products of theirs. I’m having fun with the plates and stamping but would love your rake on using those products or something similar. ❤

    Kelly, how long did you wait in between coats? Thanks for taking the time to show us your nail polish procedure. I never seem to be able to get the first coat to fully dry if I do two, let alone three!

    • @KellyTaylorCards
      @KellyTaylorCards  5 місяців тому +2

      I don't. What you saw is exwhat I do. When I'm done painting the pinky on my right hand I go back to my left thumb and start again. The key is medium coats that will dry quickly. Too much polish and they'll still be too wet to add another layer.

    Thanks so much for showing us your beautiful nail manicure. I’m in the UK and use OPI nail varnish which stays on usually for two weeks easily and I love it but I find when I put the topcoat on it seems to sometimes dissolve a bit of the nail colour and moves it so I have to do it again. Just wondering how long you leave it from your nail colour to adding your topcoat? Maybe I should leave it to fully dry first but I’m impatient! ❤😊

    Could you tell me when do you use the 2 different acetones? You might have said and I missed it. Also, please, where can we buy that metal nail pusher. I like the small tip end.

    • @KellyTaylorCards
      @KellyTaylorCards  5 місяців тому +1

      The metal pusher I believe I picked up at Sally's but I linked it on the Amazon list in the description. The Acetone Polish Remover I use to take off my previous polish. The Pure Acetone I use to clean the edges with the brush. Hope that helps!

    Nail stamping, please! I recently bought a Maniology stamp kit but am hesitant to use it. Their videos are all on fake nails on a stand that they can twist and turn in unrealistic ways, and have no cuticles or fingers in the way!

    How long do you leave each coat dry?

    • @KellyTaylorCards
      @KellyTaylorCards  5 місяців тому

      As long as it takes me to paint the rest of my fingers. I end on my right pinky and go directly back to my left thumb.
