I can't with the people who really blame Lo'ak (or Spider) for Neteyam's death. It really wasn't their fault. Neteyam didn't have to die and I wish that we could've possibly seen more of his character on screen, but really: it's RDA who is responsible for his death. Not Spider. Not Lo'ak. RDA. Bold of you to assume that Lo'ak was a bad brother to Neteyam, but it's not true. That's right, they did have an argument before Lo'ak swam to warn Payakan, but Lo'ak didn't really meant it when he accused Neteyam of being the perfect brother. He was just acting out with emotion at that point, because he wanted to help his spirit brother, but he DOES LOVE Neteyam and i'm sure he is not ungrateful for everything Neteyam had done for him. Afterwards they just didn't get a moment to talk about it and explain everything. Also, we need to stop compairing both of them, because both of them had it rough, both faced diffrent struggles and both deserved better. Lo'ak may be stubborn, rebelious and getting in danger multiple times, but once him and/ or his siblings/ loved ones are in danger he does his best to fight for them and protect them (like ex. always making sure they'd go first when escaping). He is not a mighty warrior like Neteyam, but he has a strong heart, just like Jake in the first movie. Also, a lot of people blames him for insisting to go back for Spider, but he couldn't forseen what would happen. I'm not suprised he wanted to go rescue Spider, because the two of them basically grew up together. With that being said it's nothing weird Lo'ak is seeing Spider as a part of their family, his close friend, possibly even second brother figure. Family is not always by blood, I even heard a saying "We are choosing our own family" and that sometimes it works. So I belive it's that kind of situation. Also, Lo'ak is always helping out his sisters when they're in trouble (helping Tuk escape the Recoms, and literally fighting for Kiri against her bullies), and in the end of the movie he helped his father, so I can't belive he wouldn't done the very same thing for Neteyam. Because I'm 100% sure he would. In summary: Lo'ak is a good brother, too!
Honestly, I feel worse for Lo'ak. Sure, a mother's grief is awful, but in my opinion, a sibling's grief is just as bad if not worse. Your sibling is biologically your closest relative. They share your mother and father. They're your greatest rival, your best friend, there for you because they have to be, not always because they want to be. You might say you don't like your sibling, whether playfully or sincerely, but it's that nonchalance that makes it an incredible shock when they're actually gone Edit: I almost forgot Tuk!!! She's so young!! She can barely comprehend this, Neteyam was her brother too.
Unfortunately, death doesn't only happen to people or characters who deserve it... But Neteyam's death is not in vain. It will serve as a catalyst for what comes next. The loss of his firstborn will light a fire under Jake unlike any we've seen before. Big things are coming.
I saw this movie with my Boss and my Coworkers, it was weird seeing them cry during this scene. I cried to but it hits different when you don't speak the same language (Nepali ❤)

Omg, bro typing whole ass essays here 🔥
@@authentic_linguini yeah, somehow I'm just always making really long comments. Idk why 😅

Jamie Flatters’s Funeral
I hope that in avatar 3 in the navis of fire neteyam is resurrected or that eywa sends him back this is very sad😢😢😭😭🤧
You might say you don't like your sibling, whether playfully or sincerely, but it's that nonchalance that makes it an incredible shock when they're actually gone
Edit: I almost forgot Tuk!!! She's so young!! She can barely comprehend this, Neteyam was her brother too.
I almost screamed at the screen when Netayam died, gosh I was so upset
😭😭😭😭😭NOOoOOOOOOOO NETEyYAM!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭We miss you neteyam!!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭i can not beilive he is gone
Rip beast
Neteyam didn't deserve to die
Then I don’t know why did James Cameron had to kill him off.
Unfortunately, death doesn't only happen to people or characters who deserve it... But Neteyam's death is not in vain. It will serve as a catalyst for what comes next. The loss of his firstborn will light a fire under Jake unlike any we've seen before. Big things are coming.
@@ShaddiewolfDo you think another character will die in Avatar 3 🤔
@@nealsmall9316 Maybe, I don't like to speculate about fan theories about what might happen next. I just wait to see the next movie.
Should have been jake, even after jake dies his story doesn’t have to end
I saw this movie with my Boss and my Coworkers, it was weird seeing them cry during this scene. I cried to but it hits different when you don't speak the same language (Nepali ❤)
Damn bro, you got the most chill workplace 😂
