I think menandez's plot armour is also crazy. He survived a shot to the head (probably in the eye) by mason, then followed by a grenade explosion directly behind him. He then survived the grenade explosion that killed his sister, not before surviving the shit ton of gunfire during his rampage. Then he proceeded to live all the way into the future, like how???
Don’t forget about the building fire he survived as a child before the game even started
And manages to be the most wanted man in the world and prance around without issue until the player finishes the game and even then he can get away if you don’t win
"Canon for Black Ops 6" Unless they're pulling a sneaky and doing it from a, like, a mission briefing way. Mason's thought to be dead. Woods didn't know he was alive. Nor did any government until he shows up after Section captures Memendez. So I think there's a chance that Mason is marked as "KIA" but still kickin' ass incognito.
Besides, Activision can't stay away from Mason for too long, they'll need him for the cash grabs
Woods has confirmed from the “Mason Lives” Ending that he hasn’t seen him for 30 years so I think they can make this work if he truly is alive and “The Truth Lies”
He was prolly in hiding knowing Mendez was targeting him woods and David. Was probably safer for David if his dad disappeared and didn’t drag his son through those problems at an early age. You can tell when section talks to woods in the first part you can see David visibly shaken up when Mendez was brought up.
I honestly cannot believe they made woods shooting mason canon. What the hell is the point of finding the CIA document then? Of the game practically telling you not to trust Hudson during that mission? Woods wouldn't blindly trust Hudson, he doesn't even like the guy or trust the CIA
Yeah, the ending is weird even if hudson isnt the mole which is very likely. I wish they went with mason going into hiding being canon but oh well

You and @betterthanstarlight have to realize that Woods was tortured by Menendez. He didn’t care about CIA, once he heard Menendez was Nexus Target he wanted him dead, that’s why Woods inadvertently killed Menendez’s sister. It makes sense for Woods to be tricked due to his rage, also Alex being alive doesn’t make sense if you think about it, if Woods didn’t kill Mason, why would Mason hide for 30+ years while Woods was going through the events of Bo6 and HIS OWN SON’S potentially death during the events of Bo2 and he just pops up at Wood’s place after all that happened, Woods even asked him “Where the hell you been for 30 years?” Nothing Mason would’ve said would make sense, I would’ve spat in Mason’s face for faking his death and dipping on me for 30yrs if I was Woods
The truth lies. They’ve been pretty vocal about this canon AFTER they started their “never trust the official story” marketing… at least… that’s the copium im inhaling until BO6 releases.
Yeah, the hidden choice shouldn’t have been Woods shooting Mason in the leg. It should’ve been Woods being like,”Fuck this, somethings not fucking right!” and then walking away.

Section does not fly osprey on his own. The co-pilot in cockpit got shot in the arm and survived.
29:52 Modern parachutes can deploy and work on the ground. The development of the 1-1 parachute is interesting, it ejectd the pilot while also with a small rocket motor pulling the parachute and fully extending it. A few months ago an f35 pilot ejected slightly after VTOL take off and survived because of this technology. Thank god Section/Mason/Woods served for 20+ years and have probably 1mil% disability, god we love tri-care.

I think Section not getting spotted by the invisidude makes sense actually. He has his hood up and since you can see the rain slashing on it, that means the material it's made out of doesn't absorb the rain. Now I don't know about you, but I don't think I'd hear a guy at ground level if I had the sound of rain on plastic hitting my ears.

To be fair, They say Mason dying is canon, but in BO2 nobody knows he survived in the alt ending until the very end with old man Woods. So even if the alt ending were canon, it'd make no difference for BO6. So if they'd like, they could easily change it.
