Captured Weller in the understated way that he seems to prefer.
Been going to his concerts since that magical day of The Jam. Including Brighton Centre on 11/12/1982 😭 as well as Wembley.
There was magic when The Jam played, entranced with Ricks drumming on Tube Station and Pyre.
Even though it could get unnerving for a Teen.
TSC - Whatever it was still Paul Weller with his beautiful music and hard-hitting, erudite lyrics.
And the man keeps going from strength to strength.
    Ty for this masterpiece.
My life memories are remembered by what music Weller had out.

Hello everyone and thanks for the lovely comments. When I made this video, it was never meant to be a posh standard TV documentary. In fact quite the opposite. I was so fed up of all the same documentaries that had the same formula. I didn’t want any of that and lucky enough for me, I’m not professional enough to do that anyway. I wanted something more artistic and fly on the wall. Somethings that felt a little raw. I just made it as I went along with no real plan and that made it all the more real for me. I didn’t want a storyline either, so it’s a little random in places but kinda shows the nonstop pace of the band. It was always in my interest to do it for the fans and keep it real. Like an arty home video version of my book. Thanks everyone ❤

Thanks Andy for that tremendous movie! I'm listening to Paul since 40 years now. Since being a little mod in '82 in Hamburg, I always enjoyed his music. And it is a miracle to me how that man keeps coming up with all that great new music after all these years. Luv' it that he keeps trying new things, searching for new ways. I hope he keeps doing this on and on. Thanx Mr. Weller for huge parts of the soundtrack of my life.

I well remember that scene ...had Townsend been the young 21 year old he'd have probably been cocky about how Weller couldnt play those tricky Jazz chord inversions Pete learnt from Micky Bakers excellent Jazz guitar tuition books as a young man ...after all this is the guy who even got all cocky with guitar genius Jimi Hendrix at Montrey rock festival ....as it was he's quite gracious. and humble to Paul not making a big deal of it ...I play Sunrise and it is tricky and cannot be learnt in 10 minutes by a Pop/rock player maybe a Jazz guitarist could...And thats no slur on Weller as he's no slouch himself and im a big fan of his Epiphone Casino/ SG into a marshall bluesbreaker tone and over the years laid down some great guitar ..but...Pauls like fucking hell i wish id picked a easier song ....then again had someone like eddie van halen or paul gilbert being there paul and pete would be be both like "er I'll get my coat then " lol

It's comical, almost spinal tap, cliched! He shouldn't try singing with american intonations, vocally mixing english ain't good. End up singing flat! Use your voice, you ain't Marvin bruv, but you are Paul Weller man.

I've gone right off him !
Totally overrated, material is about as exciting as dishwater...
The modern stuff isn't a patch on things like Heavy Soul and the debut solo album .
If I want real 60s vibes , I'll stick to the real 60s artists .
