How much is my treadle Sewing Machine worth?

This is a real situation where we purchased a machine from a family and when we offered them a rather reduced amount for this machine. Gasps of disapproval was given. It will nearly cost us more to restore it than what it is worth. There is so much to learn and understand when moving family sewing machines on. We are sorry if anyone chooses to get upset over this clip. It is placed up as an educational clip with something we all can learn from.
Yes there are and always will be some cheeky dealers out there, but not all are that way. Basically if you do your research and understand the complete story.
Nine out of ten sellers believe their machine is original and worth a squillion, probably in sentimental $$$ . . Yes. If you dare to look at the real issues and look from a practical side some distress may be avoided.
