In my opinion, Red Dead Redemption 2 sometimes looks better for me on the Xbox X compared to the PC
30 fps and lower dude.
@lord of gang frogs - Not entirely correct. PS4 Pro has the best framerate of all the consoles, when it's set to 1080p output.
The PC version does look better in many areas but not as much as people would expect but then I didn't expect it to change much as it already looked really good on the Xbox One X and I think many PC gamers were happy with a more refined version over the consoles with 60fps, keyboard and mouse and other benefits like that.
It also looks like if you want to set it to console like settings and 30fps, it looks like it runs quite well on much weaker hardware, now all they have to do is fix a few bugs and the crashing of the game.
I say to really see a difference here we’d have to see in natively running in person
True but you can usually tell in comparison videos and I don't see much of a change. I've played on ps4 pro and the x and they both have the same graphics. Except that PS4 has a blurry image whereas X is clean. I think X has better shadows too

trying out the PC version is like moving from GTA 5 on the PS3 to the PS4
I have a regular PS4, PS4 Pro and an old 980Ti in my PC. I can clearly see the differences. Does not matter much for most people though - even on a regular PS4 the game looks great and the game is so immersive that you'll not really notice the differences while playing.
The only thing that I hate about PS4 versions of this game is the framerate which is pure garbage. On my PC it's (almost) a constant 60 fps and it just make the game feel much more clean and responsive. If you only play console and does not notice the low framerate, don't worry about it and just play the game.
As a ps4 gamer, the framerate is actually decent sometimes drops in intensive areas but its pretty consistent, sometimes it feels smooth like 60 fps smooth

The lighting looks alot better on pc especially in the city at night compared to the consoles. Still the consoles holds up really well.
Could be the RayTracing if they are using the Nvidia RTX cards. They excel in creating beautiful lighting effects that not other graphics card can do.
I can't wait to get myself an RTX 3070 when they come out. They retail for 500 (probably 6 to 700) after large demand. It's worth it though because they preform ALMOST AS WELL as the latest Nvidia RTX 2080Ti graphics card which goes for, at the very least 1200 to 2000 american dollars. They are Nvidia's top of the line card ( unless you count the Titan X card) before you get into their much more powerful cards that aren't meant for gaming.
The 2080Ti is still a very good card and will go down in price when Nvidia releases their new cards but it will never be cheaper than around 700 to 800 bucks. My suggestion is get the RTX 3070 and save yourself 600 to 1000 dollars. By the time they come out with more graphically demanding games, you will already be in need for an upgrade anyways.
@@JordanP6885 on rdr2 there's no Ray tracing its just the enhanced shadows and lighting on pc. I tried to get the 3080 but still out of stock alot of problems with the aftermarket crashing at the mo. The Pro costs $400 and the X costs $500, and yet, they look almost identical to the PC. That's pretty damn impressive.
U think u can play this game only with a 1500$ Pc? Are u dumb? If you play Only with 30 FPS Like Consoles do u can get for 500$ ez a Pc.
Nah, its pretty darn sad cuz they didnt bother to make the PC look better and run better. But yea, anything can be impressive if you think in that way.
The "almost" makes your argument useless.
X costs here now 400$ too
@@Der_Joghurt_Ohne_Ecke Actually, none RTX GPU handle this game at stable 60 fps/4k and ultra settings right now, not even mentioning that the game is full of glitches at and completely unstable at PC platform right now, what doesn't happen to a console
And btw no a 500$ PC can't handle this game like consoles... Actually the recommended specs for this game can't give u a stable experience even at the lowest settings available, not even at 720p; the fact that u think a 500$ PC would run the game like a Xbox One X just show us how u haven't even played this crap on pc.
You go thru a lot of trouble making these videos, thanks so much! Thanks to this ive decided to get the pc version
why the FRIDGE everybody hates xbox . . .
i never had one and i really want to know
i had the three first play stations.had a pc since i was young !
The absolute difference between these three is the price
What did anyone expect? Overall, each look good, but the Maximum settings on PC really bump up that expensive detail.
We expected more cuz we also waited a long time. I guess we waited for nothing. Rocklame
@@Starfals Still can't believe the performance on it is so bad 3 days later
People seem to forget that the real difference is the possibility to play with 60FPS and/or 4k and not some unnecessary differences in the textures.
Mods.
@@animepussy8356 You get banned for playing with mods on rockstar games. lmao Also 60fps 4k isnt possible on pc. Also thousands of dollars for computer parts. Yikes.
@@GodlyAtheist Good. The online is trash. 4k is a meme, we care about FPS mostly.
@@GodlyAtheist is possible if you dont max out every category, as if consoels were running the game maxed out when was proven it runs in the slowest configuration possible (ps4 pro) and something between low and medium on x box YIKES.

It's happening again.
the reason is because rdr 2 isnt releasin on multi generation of consoles. So you cant honestly expect a jump like with gta 5. They arent gonna waste money on rebuilding the game on their next gen engine just for the pc players.

@@black0knightcs you didn't understand what I said.
@@RyadMax what do you mean please explain.
😕 yeah you don't get much better than that system for gaming fps and its running 4k at 30ish fps. On my i9-9900k 2080, 32gb, m.2 nvme i have tweak setting to run 4k on Borderlands 3, same with ac odyssey. Its still typically high to ultra, maybe with shadows on medium to get 50+ fps, i don't remember. But not just set it to ultra and roll on 4k. Honestly though the things i turn down are the ones I don't notice while playing
I'm not going to lie the PC version is in fact better looking for sure and there's no denying that but I do like the aesthetics of the console versions because it looks more like a movie on Console with the 30 frames-per-second motion blur and film grain most movies are shot at 25 frames per second so yeah I do like the aesthetics especially if you're a movie buff
On a phone. They look exactly the same. I just notice the ps4 displays fog to avoid rendering in high graphical textures at long distances.
Actually that fog was just there because of the weather at that time in the game. As he moves on you see it clear up.
@@heatherhaack4804 Correct, just one great aspect of this amazing game!
Ngl, rockstar did a pretty job for the consoles so they can reach that level of detail, i have a ps4 fat, pleased with results
i not gonna get too fussy on some tiny difference, they all look great, when it comes to graphics no console really has a massive advantage
@Cryer24597 there is 44 gb more to pc version which accounts for quality u actually need to watch 4k uncompressed to tell difference but anyways ur a console pesant ur probably brain dead in such matters
U do know that the next gen consoles are trash compared to the 3090😂
@Cryer24597 But its true . If u compare the ps5/series x or s they are way weaker than the rtx 3090. I apologize for saying the truth haha
@Cryer24597 i am Literally just saying that the rtx 3090 is way stronger. Are you denying that? Seems to me like Microsoft and Sony are paying you 😂
@Cryer24597 So you are saying , that if you compare the next gen consoles gpu vs the rtx 3090 with mind you 35 teraflops, they aren't garbage?Don't get me wrong , the next gen consoles are very impressive especially for their price . They just aren't comparable with the rtx 3090 and thats not my opinion but facts
looks great on all platforms ..i dont see a reason to pay 3000 dollars for some overpriced hardware just to get very slightly better post-processing
from another point of view: 2.300 € (modest) vs. 320 € vs. 390 € Graphics Comparison...
p.s i do own a ps4 pro & a 2.000 € pc
Dont know what you are smoking if you think you need a pc worth that much to run it on max
@@davidejlertsen5577 if we're taking about 1080p resolution, then yes maybe wrong but he's close enough to affirm that a console is way cheaper. Let's say 1300€ in 1080p and 2000 for 4k
The Xbox One X should just be renamed as the Forza and RD2 machine.
Such minor differences for such huge performance impact. This is just silly.
I prefer Xbox One X for colours, but the details on PC are insane.
The only thing that lets down this game on console is lack of keyboard and mouse support.
I have it on PS4 pro and really struggle with the pad.
I also have it on pc, running a Ryzen 5 3600, 16gb ddr4 ram @3200 and a 2080ti.
It looks and runs fantastic in 4k but the consoles are not bad at all, especially considering the price paid.
Consoles will always be better optimised as well.
So, whatever your system this is a really great game :)
Consoles have better optimization becuse the hardware never get upgrades so developers have time to lerning the system and Squiz more benefits... Becuse people have different PC hardware as low, midi, high and hardcore and we can upgrade the system so off course they can't provide better optimization then consoles becuse the hardware have different levels and the hardware can changed often but we have multiple options to choose, if i set to ultra i see huge difference then if i set it on low to midi, it's kind of optimization i can choose if the developers don't locked the game on specific status... on PC We can also set many others options as well...
I used mouse and keyboard on rdr2 pc, hated it, moved to controller on pc, better
All doesn't look much different because red dead redemption looks like a next gen game and no matter what platform your on it gives you the best graphics in the gaming community unless your playing it on a $2 laptop
XBOX ONE X > PC > PS4 Pro
PC > XBOX ONE X > PS4 Pro > PS4 > XBOX ONE S lol
Xbox One X and PC have very good graphics.
PS4 PRO too
I can hardly see any difference at all? I have played it on 4K on PS4 Pro, it is a masterpiece without competition.
4K on ps4 pro? that is kind funny
Jessie Bell why?
Ulf Holmström not trying to jump in an argument but it’s not native 4K on PS4 it’s upscaled, still looks good though
I don't see a big difference between the three. PS4 PRO has the lowest res, but graphics details have only minor changes. Maybe not the best examples choosed.
Playing on pc high setting some are dropped down to med 1080p @ 50-60 fps performance has gotten better since launch and it looks best on pc consoles have some settings even lower than pc's low, my friend who played it on his xbox immediately told me how smooth it feels on pc and looks better.
Who decided to smear butter all over the PS4 Pro version..
i tell the same ps4 version on this video has like softer AA than the xbox onex and pc, in terms of graphics, textures probably looks the same
I played that version, and even without comparison the obvious blurry mess that this game is irritated me the whole fucking way through it. That's why I'm only getting this cracked or in a Steam sale.
I've never really understood the concept of these comparison videos. Especially of the same game. I think that, if we each, compared life's subtle differences in the same way we would all be unhappy...oh wait.
@El Schnauzer Research value? Clearly what I was getting at went right over your head.
Nice comment. We really are a picky bunch of A-holes...
I still can't believe I paid top dollar for that blurry PS4 pro version. Rockstar should be ashamed for that. They should have implemented a decent checkerboarding solution like Insomniac and Guerilla Games did with Spider-Man and Horizon Zero Dawn.
They were probably paid by Nvidia to keep all the good stuff for the PC version
Played it on my X when it launch and now I’m playing it again on my pro and it doesn’t look as bad as it did at launch which led me to get the X version.
What I’m saying is it looks beautiful on both.
You havn't seen yet on PC with an RTX, its 5x better than any console, and can't see it on youtube
@Cryer24597 im sure you've never compared a PC game and a ps4 or xbox game. I play in PC and sometimes i play on PS4 Pro and on XBOX One, and i can tell you PC has 2x better graphics
@Cryer24597 I said i have a PC and sometimes i play on XBOX One, and one time i used a XBOX One X, and i can say you again, PC is much better in graphics compared to XBOX One X. Believe me or not, idc what you think cuz i know PC is the better in graphics and everything. ( I bought my PC by a very low price, so its not the 4x of money of a XBOX One X)
My cousin is a fanboy of XBOX and he knows that PC is better... I'm sure you've never had a PC on your life and you're and ignorant XBOX fanboy...
@Cryer24597 Idc if youre a fan of XBOX or PS4, but you cant say that XBOX is better than PC, when thats was checked and is fake
@Cryer24597 Btw, PC PS4 and XBOX One X are very cool for play every game. So yeah, dont call me a "PC FANBOY" when i like XBOX and PS4 too...
i dont see any difference they zoom all the way in 2 the distance to show 1 exrtra pubic hair
That one extra pubic hair means everything!
Maybe you need to get your eyes checked, look at the water, textures, reflections and shadows. There is a really big difference.
only real difference would be that pc runs at over 30fps, and console rendering usually has a few more tricks to render less at a time where you really don't even notice it. Consistent performance on console, and a lot of flexibility on the pc side. fucking beautiful game
Pc gamers will finally experience what we did 1 year ago. Was it worth the wait for slightly better graphics
Nope

I guess the PC version is just the future proof version, like with GTA4 in the beginning it was the worst in terms of performance but after just a few years it became the best performing, best looking and most content rich version out there.
With R* games on PC it's always, you wait one to one and a half years longer to get it but then you get at least 5 to 8 years of extra free content in the long run, pretty sure the same will apply here.
i've been playing gta 4 lately and my 2070 super can't even hold a steady 60 fps @ 1080p
