Basically all IT companies went on bidding for any project post Covid boom. This resulted in severe shortages of people and insane salary rises. Eventually these projects turned out to be unprofitable, so now they have to cut cost. Our company was prudent and didn’t chase after all projects, instead focused on improving sales and delivering quality. We also accounted for higher costs much before these companies. Today, we are in decent shape. No layoffs and have started hiring again.

Itni zaldi toh nai karenge .Par kuch bharosa nai hai . I would recommend you to find jobs in market rather than waiting on bench . You will get hike aswell and a project too in new company. Wish you all the best
