Chester was a great soul. I remember drawing a picture of Linkin Park when my mom calls me in the room and I hear her say Chester died. I broke down. Linkin Park's members are like family to me. I feel close to them. So I was emotionally hurt. Chester is in a better place and I will still remember the impact he left on my life just as much as he did on everyone else's.

If Linkin Park would have released a full album with songs just like this one , I would have been so happy because I’ve always wanted Linkin to go back to the roots but a little heavier. I’m truly saddened to know that I’ll probably never hear another album with vocals like this. I love you Chester. I’m forever glad for my dad putting me onto Linkin Park and learning how much a great vocalist you were.

Chester had such an unreal voice.. This song just makes me wish he was still alive to make more like this one. RIP Chester, forever remembered.
I think this song shows Chester's range perfectly. From silent slow moments, to rapping, up to his absolute Epic screams. Gosh I forgot how good this guy was at screaming.

Linkin Park and Lamb of God... Man just imagine exactly how heavy LP could have been. Not hating OML but there was a lot of potential left. That would have been a beast of a return album.
Did anyone notice how heartbreaking Chester's lyrics are in this song? You can tell now he was dealing with alot. Miss ya man, you helped me out with alot back in the day to the point friends and myself had a cover band singing all of LPs songs from Hybrid Theory and Meteora.... RIP Chester.

Dude this song is a great combo of all of their skills for sure! Mark is a badass guitarist and songwriter!! I think the bassist and drummer from Trivium filled out the sound perfectly as well, and Chester... I mean do you even have to say how awesome he is?! I agree with what you said man, keeping things interesting (like in your up and down motion example) is something I talk about on my channel! I review songs from the musician's perspective (being a musician and recording engineer myself)! If you ever have a second, I'd love to hear what you think of my channel, as feedback from someone who has been as successful as you would be badass!! Keep killing it Alex, as always!!!

Linkin Park is my favorite band of all time and will always be. Chester is my inspiration and my idol, he inspired me to learn how to scream. I always loved their music, but with the later live shows 2015 and up, Chester seemed more and more tired and exhausted to me. And with the release of one more light and him saying, he likes the album, cause he didn't have to scream all the time, i thought he had lost his heavy side. But this awesome song showed me, that he still and always was going strong and i will never ever doubt him again. Rest in peace, my friend. I wish i could have seen you live at least once.

If (and it's a BIG if) this turns out to be Chester's last recording I think it's a suitable epitaph. I've noticed a few vloggers reviewing this and saying it was Chester's song and the lyrics are dark and foretell his suicide, etc., etc. but Kerrang! posted an interview with Mark recently where he stated that he wrote the song before Chester even signed on to record it. It was about a co-dependent relationship he had been in. When Mark played it for Chester he was really into it and helped Mark polish up the lyrics and then he recorded the vocals. I think one or two of the lyrics in the first verse are a little chilling (in retrospect) but, as a whole, it's a great track and awesome to hear Chester again. Cheers.
Yeah well it was first written by Mark and Chester added a few things. I think it was recorded prior to LP's last release so it's likely not his last ever recorded song. I don't know which Vloggers you're referring to but I think they really try to find a sensation in this song (because money and clicks y'know...)

I heard this song the second it was put out and listened to it over 10 times in a row, hearing Chester screaming like that, and rap like that, on top of the beautiful cleans was so chilling. Also with Paolo and Alex bent on the song along with mark Morton is just incredible. One of the better songs I've heard come out in a while (aside from a few songs off the new trivium record)

I remember hearing this song after his passing and thinking this be the last of anything "newer" with Chester. Then LP releases a few songs that didn't make it on to Meteora a few years later. It was so nostalgic and emotional.
