You've had a tough life, but you've made a success of yourself despite the hardships, as much as you don't see it sometimes, you have given hundreds of thousands/millions of people joy through your humour and honesty. Love you brother.
Thank you! I’ve been subbed (on a now-defunct account) since 2010 and just wanted to say THANKS for the YEARS of great content! You deserve everything you have.
As a Fayetteville native, it is so cool seeing this video! I just recently moved away from North Creekside apartments and it’s so awesome to be able to point out where the videos I watched as a kid, happened!
It’s so surreal to understand all the history behind the places where the videos were filmed that my friends and I used to laugh at so hard back in 2012. Man life is good. 😌
I was homeless for a good 3 months with no job, no home and no money. I was living in my car that barely ran and would eat by digging burgers out of a McDonald's dumpster that was nearby. It was pretty terrible.

@@king6238 gosh that's something I'll have to think about. I don't think I'm good at following my own advice at any age. I guess the most significant thing that helped lead up to what happened to me is to say "Don't leave your depression untreated". So many years I lived in what felt like constant torment at the time, but was in too much of denial that depression was real and under some weird belief that medicine would "Change my personality into something I'm not" but I was too dumb to realize it wouldn't change it, it would fix it. It probably started around when I was 14 or 15 and I got that impression that depression wasn't real from my dad. My life wasn't all bad, but that was a snapshot of some of the worst parts of it.,
Boogie, I am 32, starting over again for my 3rd time, living back with my parents. I have been 'functionally homeless' a couple times in my life and it's a hard life to live. I've slept on floors a good chunk of my life, I am currently sleeping on air mattress. Going through all I have has giving me a lot experience though. Also kitties at 7:54 🥰
Hey boogie, I've just finished watching a tonne of your videos from 7-8-10 years ago about loneliness, anxiety and isolation. I can't here to tell that you look worlds better, both in body and mind. I don't know what's currently going on in your life. But you look good brother, and you sound even better, more confident, more at peace. I hope that you're doing better than your past self, you're a living role model and I hope you're doing as good as you appear to come across. Much love.
These are probably some of my favorite videos on UA-cam man. I just always love them because you just show me a way of living that I just haven’t seen before and it’s educational and it makes me feel me connected to you boogie
It's always nice to reflect back on where you came from like this. I do it every so often when I go back to CA to visit my family and we all bring up memories that we'd forgotten about and what not. Thanks for sharing.
Cool seeing into the lore of some of our favorite videos and hearing your story. Glad you went from someone who didn't have their own home to being successful and owning a home. Proud of ya buddy
Great video Boogie. I enjoy hearing your stories and seeing all these things. Sounds like a pretty hectic part of your life. I'm glad you're in a better place now :)
Every time I see a back story from you it reminds me of my start on life and the impact it made on me... I feel me and you are like non related twins I had 8 address in 8 years before moving to bentonville and am so happy here. Thank you for the walks through your life
thank you boogie, i am homeless for a few months now, got kicked out at my moms place and had to live in maaannyy different situations. But videos like this or yours in general sometimes, just lift my mood up and give me hope that i maybe have the chance to get anything around even if its shitty right now. even if i dont see a light at the end of the tunnel right now... but it lights a spark of hope, somehow thanks, great video! btw im not a native english speaker but i hope its understandable. have a GREAT day
Boogie, please keep up the videos showing your old stomping ground, places important to you, and just generally things in your life beside the studio. We love you, and we wanna see more of your life and what goes on!!! I love these types of videos!!!!!
I was homeless for about six months once. Of all things I had just graduated from College which hurt the most. I worked a dead end job, slept in my truck at a Walmart parking lot, and hoped that I would find a career job. One night after work in frigid 26 degree weather I found out that antifreeze had gotten all over my sleeping bag and I almost froze to death. To this day I still feel like College wasn't worth it.
Thats actually a much more common experience i hear about college. Unless you study something health related that is practicle like nursing. Or if you do trades and get work experience as part of the schooling.
you look so different man its really good to see how good you went and that you never gave up really warms my day to the better keep it up man you made my childhood
man I watched few of your first videos.. years ago. you transformed into completely different person. what a stunning transformation. man you rock! keep doing what you do .. be safe and good luck!
Cool to see a story like this. It's not like every UA-camr or just anybody for that matter starts out with everything at hand or in the greatest times of their life. You got to where you are because you really wanted it, you have a creative mind and most of all, it's what you love to do. I've only been a follower for the last 3-4 years and have watched a good amount of your videos dating back to who knows when but to me, you have moved forward and bettered yourself in every possible way since day one and as long as you're happy, it's what matters most. Thanks for keeping it real and love your content.
Cool video Boogie! Always fun to learn something about your favorite creators. Also wanted to congratulate you on how well you’re doing with your dieting and exercise. Looking good my man. It takes time, and as long as you keep it up, you’ll get there in no time! YOU CAN DO IT!!! Love ya man! ❤️🎸
Bringing back the classic awesome videos Boogie!! Thank you. Please just post more like this. Walk and talk my friend. Totally why I followed you years ago 👍👍👍
I remember when you had a LOT of videos from over 10 years ago where you got very personal man. I’ve known your story from before UA-cam and that’s why I’m still here watching and supporting. I love you Boogie!
Hey boogie. Thanks for sharing your story I remember the first time I was homeless it sucks being homeless a few times actually but I can’t my blessings for what I have and if I become homeless ever again it’s OK because I know that I can pull myself out of it.
Thank you for doing this episode! It's amazing to see this unknown facet of your life. Your family and you definitely went through a lot of lows in the past, and glad that you are handling these so well. :)
I love your orgin story's man. They are awesome. I loved seeing all the places you lived throughout the years while making all the classic videos! I'm also happy to see you got yourself another car. I remember you crashed your old one and went without a car for ALONG TIME.

Growing up watching your videos and seeing the severe issues in my community have made me who I am and inspired me to help others so that they know there is help.

Stay strong brother, don't join your mom too soon :(
