Gris Dior is so beautiful. I recently had a major surgery and I was wearing Gris Dior . The theatre staff were all commenting on it as they were preparing to send me off to sleep. It must have been lingering on my theatre gown ❤

I wore Musk Therapy to my grandparents’ funerals because I wanted to smell good and fresh with all the hugging, but not strong or overpowering since people would be close to me. I received SO MANY COMPLIMENTS! So, I can’t recommend it enough! Such a good elevated, classy fresh scent. I usually wear it to church for the same reason 😊

Ivory Route gets me a ton of compliments too! One of my all time favorites. I had a sample of Gris Charnel Extrait and wore it on Thanksgiving and my husband couldn’t stop smelling me! It will be my next full bottle purchase. Who doesn’t love compliments!

Oh I LOVE Lord of Misrule. Got some body wash for Christmas to layer with my perfume. I haven’t tried Turmeric Latte yet since it’s never available in store when I go! I keep looking though!!!😉😂

Love Ivory Route and Absolute Aphrodisiac. Lots of rose fragrances. Was never really down for rose but I have been using BBW Rose & Amber hand soap and it is so pretty! Was cracking up over grandma & grandpa…that is not a grandma top! Hope she is watching this video🤣🤣🤣

I'm not usually around a lot of people to get compliments but the ones I have received recently were for Chloe Nomade Absolut, Lalique Amethyst, and Tiger by Her Side from Sana Jardin.

Before you said BR 540, I was thinking the same thing. I am almost there with your daughter. I was at a funeral the other day, and as soon as I smelled 540; I knew it, and it gave me a good feeling.
Aww. Yes she has come full circle and asked for a bottle for her birthday. I almost laughed at the hubris but she got a partial scholarship (academic) to college so she will be saving us lots of money and since it’s a special birthday I was going to get her a bottle. She wears mine everywhere and gets loads of compliments all the time.

I love Ivory Route and always receive a compliment when I go out. Two sprays in the morning and I went to an appointment at 3pm and the person reacted when I walked in. They picked up on the deep vanilla. Sometimes I sneak a spray on my pillow. lol.

I got the dupe of the musk therapy through Dua and it did not smell good on me however, I may have to try the original to find out if there might be difference. Still love Initios AA -so yummy.

I can wear Shalimar pretty easily but it is a little too sophisticated for most occasions and I have to go lightly! Have a beautiful day!

Two weeks ago I went into an elevator there was a couple inside and I said out loudly that someone smells good in here❤️❤️. I'm glad I watched your video. I'm glad you made that comment about B540. Perhaps in this age of Tik Tok and UA-cam "Everybody knows..." But the reality is, maybe some people know about trendy/trending perfumes, but not everyone. I only discovered BR40 probably during the pandemic, when I started watching fragrance videos. I resisted the temptation to purchase or even try BR540 because "everybody was wearing/or knew" about it. That's foolishness on my part, and frankly, good perfume is good perfume. I can remember many years ago studying in France and the only fragrances I remember in the air were Opium and Chanel No 5. You smelled these two in the cafes, the museums, the Metro station, at personal gatherings. My point is that the world is big. And even in the US just because a fragrance is trending in Los Angeles or Manhattan, doesn't mean the folks in Springfield, Massachusetts know anything about fragrances. Or, even if they do, so what? A good performing perfume is a good performing perfume. I 'm go to order a sample and see for myself what all the fuss is about. Can't wait!

I agree 100% Nishane 100 Silent Ways is different than Black Opium. This beautiful feminine fragrance is creamy, well blended, sophisticated and very sexy. I receive many compliments when I wear it. 🌺🌺

Well, maybe it’s my body chemistry but I’ve only had one compliment wearing BR540 and that’s because I over sprayed. Normal sprays disappear on me. I’m loving Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt now and I wear it just for me. I haven’t received any compliments probably because of its very poor longevity. I just find it so comforting.

Gris Dior is gorgeous i got it in december was my first Luxury Line Fragrance from Dior. Hundred Silent ways is gorgeous but to me boring for the high high niche price. i havent smelled Ivory Route yet but will once i am wearing fragrance again. Deline Exclusive made me sick to my stomach 🙈 musk therapy is lovely but for the price so not complex or a standout but its nice if it cost around $70 i also want to try AA. Morning After sounds really nice and inoffensive

I’m a bit overwhelmed by rosy fruities like Deljna and Hibiscus Mahajad. Some rose fragrances wear too high pitched on my skin. But now I’m super curious to try Atomic Rose! Also, I’ve been sampling both Material and Absolute Aphrodisiac to see which is better for me. The other night I was wearing both on each arm, and my husband went a little wild over the way I smelled. Maybe I need both fragrances.😂 There’s a light boozy quality or floral aspect to Absolute A. that I really love. Loved this video! 😍

I really had to struggle with Ivory route. I got a sample & liked it & got a testor for a great deal, but once I got the full bottle the weird character of this frag almost made me get rid of it. I normally spray a scent on my throat & maybe some follow ups on the back of my neck or behind the ears, but the spicy opening of I.R. from just one spray would choke me out. I had to learn to spray this on the bottom of my shirt or jacket before I realized that I.R. smells better in the air than up close before I liked it 🌪
Oh yes the opening is herbal and menthol-y. Not my favorite part. ❤️

Hi Chris. I have saved up to purchase many of your selections and am disappointed that I never receive compliments not even from friends. I love telling people when they smell nice or are wearing a lovely outfit. We all need some positive feedback. Wishing you and your viewers good health and happiness as we soon head into February.
You know, compliments from strangers is much more rare; I think a lot of ppl are afraid of offending or coming off “aggressive”. Also I’ve heard in certain cultures compliments on appearance , etc is viewed as being inappropriate. But I always try and say something nice about someone (hair, outfit, makeup, scents). And it always makes ppl smile and feel good. ❤️❤️❤️🙌🥰🥰

Hi, it could be do to the other persons level of comfort. I’ve asked if I smell nice to several people on different occasions (at work) and have been told “Yeah, you always smell nice”. So it’s weird. Also, it could be how and where you spray your fragrances. If you haven’t, try applying lotions or some type of moisturizer before you apply perfume. For me, spraying my wrists, behind both ears and the back of my neck works really well. I stopped spraying my chest years ago… it either doesn’t project for me OR I noticed that my body’s heat would change the scent all together. And keep wearing your perfumes. Smell good for you and enjoy❤
P.S… always remember that fragrance is just as subjective as anything else. So it is possible for someone to not like your scent..we don’t all smell scents in the same way.
Penhaligon's Halfeti is my most complemented fragrance to my surprise bc I wear it just for myself lol, it's warm and cozy and cool and uplifting at the same time😊i don't find it particularly feminine or sexy but I get compliments from both men and women..it's seems nobody's ever heard of it 😅 it's my scent bubble heaven❤

I have the same experience with Atomic Rose. I have had a head-turning/questioning situation with Flamenco, Rehab, Delina, Alexandria ii, Tonkazure, and recently with Blanche Bete, Lost in a Dream, and Rifaaquat.

I think I am the only woman on the planet that doesn't like Gris Charnel! There is a note that just turns my stomach and gives a headache 😅 But, pretty much everything you reccomend, I really want to try!

Keep them in my hair 5-10 minutes then immediately brush out so they are more relaxed: I think I use Conair; they are purple and I use the biggest rollers. Oh yes that is CKN2U! Great cheapie!❤️❤️

Aw thank you! I mix it up; Orange Theory Fitness mostly. Just added F45 and I try to mix in Pilates . Diet? Mostly 70-30. 70% healthy, 30% not as healthy. Lots of protein and veggies (tons of eggs). I have my vices (chips, dips, wine and a cold IPA). 😉

LoL But, it's so funny you started out with a Rose Chypre... because, one of the only times I had someone come from across a store to ask me what I was wearing - I was wearing Belgravia Chypre by Penhaligon! (It's a dupe for Portrait of a Lady) She was like: "You smell incredible! What is that?!?" I giggled and told her it's a niche fragrance - I told her the name and she literally took out a pen and paper and wrote it down! So...don't underestimate the Rose/Chypres! ❤

I sprayed on my sample of Absolute Aphrodisiac the other night to compare it to another perfume, and I never have picked up on anything animalic in it, it's just a regular degular vanilla to me.. very lovely, don't get me wrong, but nothing weird or dirty whatsoever. (at least my nose can't detect it!) 😅
