piping goes inside flange towards your log burner so the tar overtime does not trickle outside your flu pipe but inside insted. double flange begins at log burner.
Bonjour Peut on le laisser dehors toute l'année sans protection de pluie..?.. croyez-vous qu'il finirait par rouiller ?..je voudrai faire une cuisine extérieure . Merci pour votre réponse.. Bonne journée
Looks like a great little fire oven. I'm seriously thinking of getting one for my flat in London due to the energy cost crisis. Shoving a flue out my airvent lol.
Just phoned outbacker to ask About loose flues and they said some are loose some are tight which is a bit odd I'd much rather have a sturdy tight fitting flue
Nice vid, I like the larger firebox door window on your stove. anyhow. your puzzlement on the Jub clips is pretty straight forward. Unlike other comments these stoves CAN be used in shed, caravans etc but they were originally designed for bell tents. that clip is for the top end of the flue and using the loose rings guy lines can be tethered & pegged to the ground. stops the flue wobble as the tent flaps. you've probably worked that out by now, if not I hope it helps. BTW which outlet did you buy from? UK? take care folks
Hey there Just bought a similar smaller tent stove Was planning to set it up in a camper van I 'm a little worried about carbon monoxyde though : the pipes don't seem to fit tightly, big gaps at each junction Plus the removable round part where you put your tea pot doesn't seem to be air tight as well... Do you have any issue with yours ? Did you put a carbon monoxyde detector to check in your caravan ? Cheers
I've just got the fire box and the same issue with loose fitting flue with gaps I emailed the store I bought from and they say it's normal and expands when hot to create a more solid glue I also see flames through gaps at the removable cooking ring but I've not used it indoors just doing the first burn.
There's no instructions to install it because it's made for tents or outdoor. Good luck. I've been off grid for a long time and that's dangerous. Unfortunately you may find out.
Tbh if you have adequate ventilation & use only dry wood & you clean & maintain your stove & flue regular then there's no need to worry 👌 ...I also have been living off grid for 20 yrs & my old stove was a used 50 gallon oil drum converted to stoves & I'm still here at the grand old age of 65 👌

Thank you for that. It just did not seem to go that way but thank you,
hiya the jubilee clip's are for the top when put into a tent to stablelise flue in high winds.
Thank you. We were unsure.
If it's the eco burn version, that may be shying still draws when the vent is closed.

Just got the fire box I found the flue to be loose fitting and wobbly but when it's burning hot it expands and ends up solid how was your experience

I have put a detector in yes. No problem. But do not feed it paper and clean it out a lot and then it does not smoke

I agree I have been using this every day seems fine
Definitely not dangerous as it's made to be in a bell tent I've seen plenty of people using them in garages or sheds just fine
