We had a new Claas 650 a year ago and it’s been faultless as was the 630 that preceded it. Local Claas dealer is just fantastic as no one can touch them for service or parts backup.
Did price a Case maximum 150 but Claas beat the price by a good margin with a lot higher spec and more powerful performer with better warranty
We’d be looking at a 630. I have no doubt about the dealer and his backup. Yeah the case is more expensive and less warranty included but I can’t fault the case.
Hello Shane. The Claas are mix of Renault, John Deere and Massey Ferguson. Some people have said they can be very glitchy. Good value by modern standards so maybe a hi spec new model might be the way to go. Many contractors run multiple Claas tractors in their fleets, e.g. Slievenamon Agri Services in Tipperary so must be reliable enough.
If I were contracting they certainly would be my tractor of choice for that. They definitely are value for money.

Closest dealer for backup is case. Get on well and I just like the tractor.
Class nice tractor looks very comfortable with bright glass cab interesting video , what width is the cutting bar on the combine
It’s different from the case it has it pros and cons. It’s a 20ft header

See can you get a 650 cis plus on demo electric spools and the a pillar is bigger and more info on it and in colour we have a 610 650 and 830
We were looking at a new 630, she would have all the new bells and whistles.
@@ShaneBTFarms our 610 is full spec cebis. Bought it off Kelly’s ex hire
have a claas 640 full cebis nicer spec for what you do very good all around tractor very reliable
I wish I had have got to try the higher spec machine.

Had a massey before. No demo around I think.
