good lad. must of got Quinn to cough up🤑
If I was buying anything like bumper related used them in England would be the ryetec workbox with the weight can put on and take off the weight when ye need it
Yeah I did see them alright. I find from looking at them is that they are big and bulky?
Looks the part and a handy yoke 2
Heva front roller are a good job, we bought a 3m folding, very happy with , yes it is heavy ; but its still about a ton less than a cross 3m. Only thing to watch out for with the paddles, the ones on the outer edge are inclined to throw clay or clods back on to what you've just sown.
I noticed that. I was tempted to loose the outer two paddles? I know a few people have done that before. Overall a great press
Looks great
Thanks!
Great how you explain everything, good vid 👍🏻
Appreciate it!
Not had much dealings with the Case but that 145 seems ideal for the work you got it doing. Great vid and thanks
As a general all rounder it’s a good option. Thanks for watching.
Hi,is the Overum for sale?
Not the 5furrow may sell a 4furrow in the future
You will take on and off the mx in seconds once you get used to it, just keep ground level and have a wall in front of you.
I’ve done it a few times already but that tractor always has the loader on. Learnt the hard way 😂
Great video lad ...is there more visibility with the Mx than quicke?? Also how much of a difference was there? You don't have to say what you gave for her but if you could say the price difference
Yeah they’re would be in my opinion. Slightly narrower. I’ll double check but the mx was a higher spec’d loader with more reach and she was cheaper.
Slats for your cattle would reduce your work load.
I like the dung for the tillage ground. Plus we have straw that we wouldn’t sell so it serves a purpose, the sheer cost of slats wouldn’t make it viable for us.
Good video ❤
Tractor really looks the part
Would ya not just put up a video for the sake of it, you'll be messing up my Sunday morning routine 😂😂😂😂
Hahaha will do 😂😂😂
That's some size of a bale trailer, what lenght is it?
It’s 35ft.
@ShaneBTFarms thank you very much for the reply
@ it was 34ft originally but it was a tight squeeze for the 8 on the bottom so we added a bit makes it easier.
Gray has one ❤
Yeah do a lot of loader work, ever consider a telehandler? Hard to have everything though!!
Would be a dream alright, currently have 4 tractors with loaders. Handy around the yard the tele but for the likes of delivering we would still need a loader tractor.
Great video 👌
👌
Nice video , on heating steyr , we had a deere do the same , took a while to figure it out , vicious fan not spinning fast enough, hard to notice , not sure if same on Steyr.
I was reading something on Facebook and that also came up. I think that is the problem. Pricey part!
APV are the only air seeder to consider, serious back up and can handle alot of different seed types.
Hopefully see a few at the show this week!
great video
Thanks!
Spray For Quinns. LOL
Great update video , keep them coming
Thanks, will do!
Do you sow some with no tramlines
Dad forgot to turn on the tramlines. But 80% of the time we tramline.
Very interesting, Shane, keep the videos coming!
Thanks John.
Great start for the winter crop, the job is an awful lot handier when the weather is half decent
Yeah the weather has been unreal.
What's the list price of that machine Looks like it does a fairly decent job How deep do you grub And do you subsoil the tramlines ever
I think it’s around €20k mark. Yeah it does a great job. I had that down about 10/12 inches only on tramlines back to around 7 normally.
Do you not swap ground with the potatoe lads for the big money
Nope, our own land is farmed by us. I think potatoes do alot of damage to ground.
@@ShaneBTFarms is that because of soil compaction by the tractors and trailers/machinery etc or because the potatoes damage the soil as they grow?
@@TheGrimReaper1 yeah mainly yeah. And you cannot control what happens.
Stupid people 😂😂😂
Good video ❤❤
I'm glad you like it
Have you ever tried direct drilling there. Nice even ploughing
Not direct drilling, have min tilled alright. Not sure how the direct drilling would fare.
Great video, your getting great weather to get the work done
Lovely day for it 🌞 take care Joe
Very good Why and how long are you a case man
Closest dealer for backup is case. Get on well and I just like the tractor.
I would agree with you paint on case wheels is shite hedge cutter knocked hell out of them sandblasted and painted with a darker gun metal silver far smarter 👍
Good video ❤❤ I saw you on strday
Nice video, tidy ploughing
Thanks, I like to try.
New to your channel recently but great videos👌👌✨️✨️. What was the speed difference between the overrun and the Kuhn ploughs? Did they turnover the same width of ground? Thanks 🙏🙏
With Both ploughs I would do around 8.2-7kmph. I haven’t measured them fully but I have noticed that I think anyway the Kuhn ploughs ever so slightly wider when out full.
I done my first ploughing at 9 years old and havent ploughed in 15 years man i miss it
Relaxing when it’s going well.
I nerved get bored at watching plaoughing.
Great Content
Thanks!
Why did you not buy another overum 5 sod plough Are they not lighter and still a very good plough The Kuhn are very heavy
Overum very good plough we have still 3 of them. I wanted a change, I heard good things about the Kuhn and they put a good deal together. Did price and overum and it was a good chunk more. That said I’d have no problem going and doing a couple of days with the overum. Think there’s 600kg in the difference.
What area do ye operate in
Kildare mainly south. We head into north Kildare also
Great content, Shane, thank you. Can you please share the date and day for the job you are working on?
That was all last week from Monday through yesterday(saturday 19th)
Another great video, thanks for sharing, keep them coming. Great that you're getting some crops planted, didn't manage to get anything in the ground here on the east coast since last weekend.
We got a good run the last week! Only Friday was a wet day. Nearing the end now.
@ShaneBTFarms thanks for taking the time to read and reply to the comments, keep up the good work.
No problem, I enjoy the feedback whether it’s good or bad. And the video’s would be nothing without the people watching .
Greas video keep em coming. Content is perfect dont apologise.
Thanks. Glad you enjoy.
Great video. 270 acre for 25 euro is 2500 cent divided by 270 acres would be 9.2 cent per acre I believe.
10 points on the plough
@elishevadooley9826 true thank you
Correct you are right. My head was working on the 10 points. Currently on the cheaper points at the moment.
👍👌👍👌👍👌💯
If your customer wanted plastic why didn't you use it ?
We wanted to try the tama product. I also don’t bet on well with the plastic.
Good video
How much seed does the kuhn drill hold?
700kg of barley. 1000kg of wheat
