      @@AnabaptistPerspectives I wonder what Merle’s take would be on those who are caught rather then voluntarily confessing? We have just in this year two cases in our congregation. One of them our Bishop .We hardly know how to deal with it .

      @@ozarkview928 This is a big subject, and let me just say that the response and level of accountability is quite different for those who have not voluntarily confessed their failures. -Merle

      @@merleburkholder334 I think we could use some teaching on this . I know of a few congregations where this has happened and the fallen leaders want the congregation to forgive and accept them . Some of the people left , some ignore them and some treat them as friends 🤷🏻and that doesn’t even touch the subject of there broken bleeding families who are trying to make sense of there lives again 😭.
