Very clean and simple recipe, worthwhile to mention that 4hours is a borderline sour flavor, if you want more flat reduce the time and more sour increase the time.
If you use ultra pasteurized milk, you can skip heating your milk. Pasteurized milk has already been heated over 180 degrees or more. So just add everything in all at once, hit yogurt button and that's it.
put a cheesecloth in a fine strainer and pour the yogurt into it, set over a bowl to drain the whey. Drain in the cooler overnite. It will become as thick as you decide you want it to be, you can make cream cheese by adding salt.
I bought the non stick ceramic IP liner just for making my yogurt. I do the boil first which brings your milk up to 185°F, then cool my milk, at 55°F I add my starter of choice and pour into the non stick liner again for the yogurt time. I really love the ceramic non stick for this. I can set my hours up above 36 hrs . I usually use 8-12 hrs. And Personally I like thicker yogurt so I drain in a nutbag post tge yogurt process and keep the whey to use as starter for my next batch or other needs.
It is very difficult to understand what you are saying about the release valve. Your voice is too soft, and you spoke to quickly. What setting are we supposed to use please?

No I didn’t remove water because that’s hot

Are we keeping steaming mode on for 10mins?
yes!
Do we need to keep it on for 4hrs?
Yes, after the milk cools to 108-110 degrees, add the starter and put it on the yogurt setting up to 10 hours depending on how tart you want it.
